I think people who make fun of Heskey should remember he has scored 111 more premier league goals than you ever will :) That's more than the likes of Defoe or Darren Bent and he works harder and is in involved in the play more than those players and others from the 1st minute to the last giving 100%. He was very good for Liverpool, Leicester, Birmingham and at times for Wigan and Villa. I say, don't be so quick to judge and study more aspects of the game so as to be able to make better analyses and have better appreciation for the various perspectives of the beautiful game.
And yeah, we definitely do not want to be signing anyone for the sake of it. I don't think we ever have or ever will. Our squad looks quite good atm. Maybe we could do with another left back but otherwise I think we're ok. I understand people get very eager during the transfer season but following all the rumours etc. will give you a right good headache. Take it easy, do something else, keep your focus on other stuff while knowing in the back of your mind that football is about to run riot soon once more :)
