Berba is a class act in every regard. This just confirms it. Hope for his sake that this gets sorted sooner rather than later. We will miss him.

i didnt know that man,i always thought there was no offer of a permanent move as joorchabin wouldnt budge,or did we offer something silly for the guy?,to be honest i cant remember that far back as i have slept since then,lol..
Yeah we did offer something like 22 m can't remember the exact amount maybe less as I know it fell short of the valuation joorchabin valued him at. The we made was the last minute towards of the end of the transfer window after we sold ronaldo and failed to capture benzema as he chose madrid. It was like the offer was a token gesture to show the fans we tried to keep him when we truly didn't. Also it was after he announced he was leaving We should have tied up the contract situation during the season but messed tevez and his agent around, went back on our word and tried to short change him. Not to mention how he was dropped in favour of berbatov as he was fergies new favourite along with the huge price tag he felt pressured to play him even if tevez scored 4 goals in one game he'd be dropped for the next. Poor man management and two players who've been *** about and deserved better treatment. After all it was us who came calling for their services, they never forced us to purchase them in the first place.
I must admit i agree with u. I have for a long time thought that some players were treated badly. berbatov, kuczak etc. Sometimes it pays off and we get a classy replacement. But , sometimes we really miss out and you have to point the finger at managment.

Wow, I've never been on his Facebook page before. I was quite surprised to see how well he kept his followers updated with pictures and status updates.
It's quite strange, he has never been a social person (he admitted it on several occasions) but in the last 3-4 months he started updating his facebook page quite often. I personally like it, twitter is worse in my opinion

Because i am tired of speculation,i am talling you this. I read the papers and i see they say 10 million pounds is my price. I go and talk with Sir Alex, and he says to me 5 million..So who is talling the truth, what do you think??..And the truth is, I love this club, but i am not going to be useful to anyone, if i am not playing. And i want to play, i want to help. But for unknown reasons its not going to happen, or my chances will be limited, so it's better for everyone if we say goodbay. If not, i am professional and i will keep doing everything i can, to help my team and my teammates, whenever i have opportunity to do so.
very humble statement, respect to u Berba. I agree tho and think he would be better at another club. i would wish him all the best.

It certainly is a shame to see him leave as maybe most didn't value him here but I thought whenever he was called upon he did his job didn't mope or anything just got on with it, i hope he can find himself a good club where he will get the playing time that he deserves and he can show his talent, it's very rare nowadays to find a guy in football who is as loyal as berbatov is, rejecting city not many people would do that with the wages they would have offered, good luck to him

Would have been fun having Tevez around to keep saying how he wanted to leave (as he did with City within months of signing), refusing to play and taking off to Argentina for a few months in the middle of the season. but yeah the problem there was SAF, lol. Oddly enough it was the signing of Berbatov that seemed to spell the biggest problem for Tevez as he did not seem to enjoy having his playing time cut. I am sure it won't be long until he is complaining about being at City again.

but I noticed that some people are big on player power, wants them to have all the say in what happens, be it untried youth or trouble making Argentinians. Myself I prefer a strong manager to keep things under control, so far that has worked out best for us (nobody in a league as strong as the PL will win every season).

Yeah because what he done at city was guaranteed to happen here as well. How much trouble did he cause when he was here? Please tell me as there must of been an array of ugly instances where tevez went on strike, threatened fergie with weapons and set fire to the pitch.

who lied to tevez?,SAF was under no illusions regarding the handsome one and wouldnt fork out 26mill to keep him after his loan spell..
He lied to tevez regarding offering him a deal then only did so as a token gesture when ronaldo was sold and we failed to get benzema. He f***d around too long and took tevez for a mug. tevez said in january that same season that he wanted to sign permanently yet nothing was offered until the last minute.

He's been treated like s**t since he stopped being everyones flavour of the month. Should have left him at tottenham then we wouldn't have had to treat him and tevez like they were pieces of meat and lie to them about contracts and transfer fees.
