Re: Could Fergie be grooming Rafael to replace CR7?

I don't think SAF is trying 2 groom him 2 replace Ronaldo because he's a gd defender and i think he would be better off staying at right back because he can attack and defend and he is good at both.

All i know is that Rafael is a future star.

     i dont think soo....

fergie likes to keep people to their preffered position as much as possible and fully develop their potential from there

maybe if he had signed for arsenal wenger might have tried to turn him into a cr7 style play, as wenger likes to change players positions, e.g. henry - winger to striker, walcott - attacker to winger

but i do think in a few years wen rafael is playing there as 1st team him and cr7 will be UNSTOPPABLE down the right

I don't think he is being groomed for it but I must admit I think he may well grow naturally into that position. From what little I have seen of him I was very impressed by his attacking flare, speed and ball control. He also knows when to pass the ball and delivers a good cross into the area.    Cool

could be...but i think Rafael would be better at RWB than RWM coz he's a good defender as well, and it would be a waste of his considerable defending  talents

Could Fergie be grooming Rafael to replace CR7?

Looking at how the boy plays, and the little i've gathered about him, he has a knack for scoring goals and he was a topscorer in the U18's world cup. He's aggressive, brave, has almost perfect ball control and to top it up he has the talent and speed. Any insight guys?
