How about 3 different people need to report it before it's locked. that way one person can't cause havoc. I know a few people here have 2 accounts but i doubt if anyone has 3.

cant people manipulate isp addresses tho? I used to unplug my modem overnight to save energy and often it wouldn't go bk on for 20 odd hours or so and everytime i plugged it bk in i got a new IP address......not sure if i got a new ISP address tho

There was some real nasty stuff posted a while back though. For these instances i dont think the above would work.

That's a great idea, cos this is just ******.

This forum needs a overhaul which has been long overdue. It works nicely at times but then there are features such as ones mentioned by the OP which ruin it for the majority. You would think they were moderating little 5 year olds with the 10pm curvew nonsense. Then there is the 100 hour wait for your post to appear when you're a new member and of course when someone doesn't like a point they can just report it and make the post disappear. It's a complete joke.

More than worry about the forum we should commiserate this "funky......" character. He can be harmful to himself and those who live around him. This is just an internet website which will get back to it's original state when the moderator wakes up but this guy/girl seems to have deep mental issues, which can turn very dangerous. He could either be suicidal or get extremely violent and dangerous to others. I wish someone can track him and admit him to a facility.

I remember once when this fourm was half decent.

the mods should be able to see who is reporting these threads and if it is frivolous then they should suspend the account of who is reporting all these threads. It is past old already.
