i have always thought a striker is as good as is midfield. van persie might sign and not score more than 10 oals.

Look at it logically. He won't got to city as they would need to offload players first. He might join Juventus, but would only be for the money as the italian football isn't great I can't see him staying at arsenal, unless he is happy with the signings, but even then they bought 2 x strikers have they not? Lucas Moura was NEVER joining United, Fergies favourite saying is no value in the market, did you or anyone else honestly think he would spend 30 million ona 19 year old teen from Brazil who is unproven? Van persie is proven in the EPL and is at his peak, we can only assume, without assumption this forums would be pointless

Not going to believe it unless stated on our website that he has put pen to paper. IMO I think he will go to city, Mancini likes to play things down nicely.

Yep, has ruined it. Any small rumour that would have gained no pace whatsoever in the past explodes in a matter of hours now. Worst thing is when the actual news sites and stations pick up on it as if its credible.

Another thing I can't stand is how a news site points to another news site. Perfect example being that ITV story when they have "Van Persie chooses United" in the URL. Then in the actual story they say "According to Manchester Evening News". Ridiculous.

Yeh i agree with you. I guess it depends who we playing some games scholes and carrick are perfect to dictate and sometimes we may need to change scholes for anderson or cleverley depends.... Also, yeh kagawa better in middle of the 3 and if this is the way we going to play it will mean him and rooney will need to keep swapping it may be a case in big big games where kagawa is in the middle and rooney on left because i think kagawa will help the central 2 midfielders more than rooney would because rooney plays the role more like a second striker rather than an attacking midfielder....as for kagawa trust me he is going to be a real hit, he is such a good player very clever excellent passer but he is so sharp its ridiculous he is like a busy bee just buzzing around finding space and very good on both feet.... he will defo be a success.

Well I really do not want him here first of all. I think last season, although great, will not be repeated. So I think he is overrated

I would much rather see the development of Danny and Chicha because they are long term and RVP will just be 2-3 years.

I also think he sucks as a human, just do not like him.

I sorry but have a scoring ratio of 1 goal in every 2 games says otherwise. I agree with you that Welbeck and Hernandez need to grow but it can't be at the expense of the team. when we won the treble in 1999 we had for top ST and SAF has always said you need 4 ST. United getting RVP is a good thing because it will make the players push harder to make the team
