    Where Does RVP Leave Kagawa?

Now we have almost certainly signed Robin Van Persie from arsenal, he will obviously be first choice with rooney playing just behind in the hole, (basically kagawa's best position) so my question is what positon will kagawa play? He will be a complete waste on the wings, i think he can do a very good job in centre midfield as the more advanced player, but in the hole is the guys best position, we dont want to waste this mans talents. I personally would play a 4 3 1 2 formation rooney and van persie upfront with kagawa just behind them but fergie as some difficult decisions to make. Over the moon with RVP's signing shows that we can compete and will add that fear factor back into our attack

Probably just paper talk but the daily mirror are saying that Hernandez may be going to arsenal. Don't think this was part of the deal. Anyone heard anything?
I cant see thta happening, maybe on loan for the season but nothing more than that. hernandez is worth 18m ild say so. unless we paid 6m + hernandez, but no only loan if anything i reckon
Yes hadn't thought of a loan deal. That could be an explanation. Thanks.
I actually think it could help utd in the long run too. In my eyes arsenal wont challenge for the title but they will give teams a good run for there money. if hernandez was getting in the team , he would not play against us but would against our competition so would score. he would also improve as a player. down side is he may want to stay at arsenal at the end of it if he becomes a big part of the team. At utd he wont play much, surely 4th choice now and that wont help his development. he may become unsettled and want to leave anyway. however he is always handy to come off the bench if we need a goal. but with nani, kagawa, valencia, rooney, van persie, welbeck young we shouldnt really be in that position unless were leaking goals because we didnt buy a midfield enforcer to protect the back 4 and therefore need to outscore teams

Why would this happen when SAF repeatedly says, one of his greatest times at the Club (Treble) in his eyes was due to having the services of 4 strikers (Cole York Sherri Ole) given the Berba is going, Macheda is nowhere near good enough, new signing Henriquez (when completed) is only 18 and raw, which would leave us with 4 in, Rooney Welbeck Hernandez and RvP (assuming the deal gets completed today).

were going to play a different formation to 99., were going to go more 4-2-3-1 than 4-4-2 Plus kagawa likes to play behind the main striker so he kind of counts as a striker. our front four will be kagawa (always playing behind a striker), van persie, rooney and welbeck.

I can see a front 4 of nani, van persie, rooney and kagawa, all interchanging. then you have young, valencia and welbeck at back up. Not much room for hernandez at the mo.

looks like henriquez will go back to the club he is at on loan for now, we signed him early to beat city

7 Nothing much, just trying to stay away from the speculation, the sneijder saga knocked me for six. So i learned and i decided to analyse more than comment. I have noticed that similar trend this season with Hazard and Moura, but now we actually have a player the majority and myself believe will add that extra quality in the final third, so i thought i'd share my knowledge on the CONFIRMED affair, and now look forward to the season. cheers mate.

This is a post by Robert Lisiewski, describing the great man himself. I found it on the manutd.com website and posted it here out of fear of losing it as the website gets updated. "He brought back trophies and brought back the United that people fell in love with in the 50s and 60s. He built four great teams. And his passion for this club, and the drive to win and play beautiful football is as fresh and strong as it was 21 years ago. I, for one, am in awe, and I thank God everyday that I was lucky enough to be a witness to the greatest manager in football history. Thank you Sir Alex."

Well United is most likely going to play ait atleast with just one striker and there is possibility of playing Kagawa&Young behind the striker on more advanced role too. These two can easily cover for striker once in a while and makes rotation in general bit easier. 4 Strikers really is bit too much and rather give some reserve player like Keane few games in a season than try to keep 4 strikers in game form. In case of injuries it's bit different but when all are fit only Rooney and RVP are considered as regular starters from strikers and Welbeck rotating. This way Welbeck gets enough games and keeps his form. With 4 it just don't work...
CL,PL,Carling Cup & FA CUP,RVP will not play in every game, & Rooney should not be playing in every game, thus it gives a chance to Both Welbeck & Hernandez to play games, not forgetting any injuries that may occur during a season.
mmm i can taste the tears

Hernandez wont get a game, hes 4th choice and 4th choice strikers dont get many games. I disagree that RVP is better than welbeck, I think welbeck is pure class.
Really? you are saying that the top scorer of the league last season isnt better than welbeck? IMO welbeck will be more affected than Hernandez. Hernandez has proven that he can come on with 15 minute to go and make a difference. Welbeck on the other hand has started more games but scores the same number of goals as Hernandez (or there about I cant rmb the exact numbers). I'm not saying that Welbeck is a poorer forward but it is clear that Welbeck's inclusion in the team has more tactical reasons than simply goalscoring duties while Fergie does seem to call on Hernandez when we needed to change a game. That said, I think both of them will get plenty of game time next season. I can see Hernandez starting on the bench more regularly while welbeck being the alternative to rooney and RVP during squad rotations and injuries. I also think that rooney may be deployed in the hole more often next season with RVP (and welbeck) being the frontman, Kagawa will be the alternative option in that position. So we will be looking at at least 25 games each for welbeck, hernandez and kagawa next season. I don't think that's bad at all.
