Sadly it will make not enough difference, as already seen with citeh's dubious ground renaming, just a maneuver of monies to start to get round FFP, and it's made little difference to PSG's spending so they must think they have found a hole to slip through.

Will be hard to police as they will hire lawyers like me to find legal loopholes (and they will be there) and it will be even harder to make any sanctions stick and legally enforce them.

In the end are they really going to go through with say banning Real and Barca from european competitions, don't think so.

Also you can be certain that the Glazers will already have people in place to look at our own positioning.

The biggest teams have the resources to look to find ways to still do what they need to do and the smaller teams don't have the money to spend anyway so it won't be an issue for them.

In all it will make a bit of a difference but it won't provide a level playing field across the board.

Man city lost 197 Million pounds, they have to do some thing on that first.

..... as already seen with citeh's dubious ground renaming, just a maneuver of monies to start to get round FFP,

exactly..... All thats needed is a few more dodgy naming rights, and sponsership deals, and they are past the FFP.

Something has to be done because the money some of the clubs are paying for players nowerdays is ridiculous. Plus, half of the time the players not even needed. Its just to avoid another club from buying them.

A lot of you are saying comments like FFP is already In effect, it isn't so don't be thinking PsG have found a loop hole, they are barley big outside France, that's why they buy the big names now so they have a larger fan base for next year, its simple you spend what you make and in 3 years time we will surely see a swing in the market!

It has to have an affect, the clubs are given like 3 years after next to clean up though before they get banned from UCL, and we arn't gonna benefit till we are out of debt, the sooner that happens the sooner are the top dogs again the transfer market scene, we can garuntee that without debts at this moment in time and with FFP rules we would be Able to pay the most

Pls, we said the same things about city and they have duck and weaved the rules. The only stance UEFA should take would be to kick PSGout the CL but they don't have the balls, so nothing's going to happen

Re: we badly need FFP rules !!

I don't think we badly need it, as the title put it. The game in general badly needs it though. Transfer fees and wages are getting way too crazy and clubs are getting ruined by some of these owners like Portsmouth and Malaga for example. But we can still compete if we want, we just refuse to pay way over the valuation of a player. I thought £30 million was crazy for Moura never mind 40, that just shows how prices are getting ridiculous. We would be able to attract top players with or without FFP, if teams want to over-pay for players let them. Moura will leave PSG in a couple of seasons for next club to throw more money at him and PSG will of probably paid over the odds for 1 measly french title and be banned from Europe.

http://www.financialfairplay.co.uk/financial-fair-play-explained.php that why ManCity stop buying now, they also try to sign RVP,but they want a cheap price too.De Rossi for £30M,Man City got the money, they happy to pay i think. But FFP rules will block this tranfer.PSG spend 150m,so i waiting to see how they make money.
FFP only comes into full effect at the end of the upcoming season. that also why Chelsea and PSG are going all mad this season because it is the last season they can. next season Chelsea won't be able to buy players because of the money they spent now and PSG will have to sell some of there players
The first Monitoring Period has started and will look at the finances of clubs in the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons.
Yes you 100% that the monitoring period has started but the can only start ruling on transfers at the end of the upcoming season
