i can see Kagawa making an impact as simlar to what Silva has made for City...maybe even more and Kagawa seems to be more faster ,agile and better finisher then Silva and is 3 years young...

Let's see how he performs in his first season in BPL then we can compare.

I hope that playing Kagawa in the CM position was a one off, he has no right playing there, have a horrible gut feeling that SAF will experiment with him there, hopefully he sticks him behind the striker, he was much better there in the latter half of the match against Hannover, his link up play and movement was brilliant and he got a goal to boot.

Someone was watching the Paddy Crerrand show last night lol thats exactly what Paddy was saying. The comparison between Kagawa and Silva. Well Kagawa deffinatly looks like he is confident on the ball and seems to be linking with the lads well. His link up with Rooney for his(kagawa) goal the other night was good.

Atm the moment Silva is better than Shinji, but hopefully Shinji can get to Silva's level soon. I think he will be an important member of the team which will help Rooney immensely as he wont have to do the scoring and the dropping back.
Yeah I was thinking the same, I think we will have to wait around a season and half to see him become his best
I dont think you guys have seen him play in germany, he's well on silva's level. Just needs to adapt to premier league....

I agree silva is the better player at the moment, only because he is proven in better leagues especially the prem, however kagawa is younger and i feel if he can settle into the prem he could become an even better player than silva because he as all silva's vision, passing etc, but i feel he is capable of scoring alot more goals than silva. But if he can get to silva's level he will be an immense signing, i would have silva at utd over any other city player.

The similarity is deffinetly there, just that...erh...Kagawa is more clinical. I just hope that with such similarity, Sir Alex Ferguson does not waste his talent in central midfield or on bench in favor of his annoying love for the 4-4-1-1 formation and width.

Edit: Alternation between 4-4-1-1 is okay aslong as the 4-2-3-1 is our main formation with kagawa in the...erh...lam role.

He wasted Andersons attacking abilities so chance he could do the same. SAF isn't always right, i just pray to god this isnt the same situation.

    Kagawa Just Like Silva?

Shinji Kagawa can be for utd what david silva is for city, ive watched alot of both players and Kagawa is definitly a silva type play maker, ive read on this forum that they are totally different players but for me they are very very similar, hence why i was so much happier having kagawa over hazard, because he is the type of play making goal scoring mid we have been lacking for a long time, not only do they play the same their builds are very similar aswell both very slight and samll yet very strong when in possession the opposite of park. Really hope kagawa settles into the prem, he could be 1 of sir alex's best buys, and but for him only having 1 year left on his contract would of cost utd alot more money 25m plus easily..Cant wait for the season to start now...
