people are over rating him as usual. hel be as good as rooney, or if you want to compare position wise. he wont even reach the xavi level/iniesta level. hes a good talent tho. but not that good.
Oh well if he'll only be on a similar level to Rooney he's not even worth looking at LOL. As for Xavi and Iniesta only when Guardiola showed were they as good as they are. Xavi was nearly 29 by this stage, so there's time for Wilshere. Someone like Henriksen would be a cheaper option, or Eriksen in fact, who stole the limelight from Wilshere in that friendly.
good to see someone not mentioning a media target ie having a mind of their own in suggesting henriksen. top talent too
He is a good talent. Still very young and cheap. Linked with Celtic for £3 million apparently, nothing to lose situation but tbh I think a more physical cm is needed. The likes of Casemiro and Cirigliano spring to mind, but perhaps they're too inexperienced. Only one way to tell...
Henriksen is a talented young midfielder he looks decent but we have enough enough talent coming through here already.I have high hopes for these just give the likes of Powell Petrucci Tunnicliffe etc games this season and see how they do.
Good point, but tbh I haven't been convinced by Tunnicliffe yet. As I said anyway Henriksen isn't really the answer, we need someone more physical. Tunnicliffe is that but there are better talents out there.

Since its everything must go at arsenal this year with Robin Van Persie, Coming to Us And Alex Song going to Barcelona. why not have a cheeky big for the english sensation. pk maybe not this year. but the next? im just being optimistic i dont think he will leave hes arsenal through and through but as we know anything can happen in football. if that boy doesnt end up leaving i want it to be for Old Trafford.

Never gonna happen. But we thought the same about RVP a while back *grin*

Imagine Cleverley and Wilshere dominating world football for a decade.

Would be amazing wouldnt it. I would love to see Cleverley Anderson Powell Petrucci Tunnicliffe etc dominate football for years to come i have high hopes for these players.
i agree...but not to forget Petrucci is vastly talented and i can see him becoming one of the leading playmakers in the PL after few seasons...
Thats why i dont think we should sign a CM this summer as i would promote Petrucci and Tunnicliffe into the first team squad and see how well they do i have high hopes for them both are brilliant talents they need experience the only way they can get that is if they play games thats what i would do.SAF always says about he wants to play more youth players that we have great young players coming through well play then and see what they can do.

he is potentially the best player in the world
Possibly he could go on to be the best midfielder in the world but i doubt best player, while ever you have players like messi, ronaldo i cant see him overtaking them, he is good, potentially very good but i think he will always be a level below. To be fair with all his injuries he has had i dont think he will furfill is full potential, i can see him being hit and miss with his injuries and it could ruin his career if they dont stop, i think taking the risk of 35m on his would be to great and to be honest he has stated he wants to stay at arsenal for a long time. For me this one is a huge no.
I agree mate.Injuries are ruining him right now if he can stay clear then he can become 1 of the best midfielders in the world but i cant see him leaving Arsenal he wants to stay there for a long long time.
agree with both of ya...IMO it would be a gamble and i am not seeing him move anytime soon..
I think in order for wilshere to become one of the worlds best midfielders he needs to be winning big trophies, champions leagues and league titles, if arsenal dont pick things up abit then wilshere may reconsider his future once he gets older and more mature. I think to be classed as the best you need to win things, or atleast challenge year in year out, obviously there is exceptions to every rule but it would be sickening for the lad to go throughout his career not winning anything, not saying arsenal wont win anything but the way things are going they could have a long wait for there next big trophy.

Potentially could be one of the next best English midfielders... however he also hold the biggest potential to turn into the next Hargo... I am not sure how long he has left to actually spend more time out injured in one go then Hargreaves managed....

I'd rather have Ramsey to be honest.
for the risk and the cost he would be the better option, talent wise i feel wilshere surpass's him but i cant see any of them leaving arsenal.

I dont think giving Wenger a heart attack is high on Fegie's priority list at the moment. But if it is, then expect him to submit a 35 million bid before this day ends.
    RVP and Kagawa 40 million
    Torres 50 million
