United have had hits & misses,as for smalling,jones,powell,kagawa there is still ??? that will remain over them until they feature more for us,granted kagawa looked awesome in pre season but the teams we played against were not exactly world beaters now(barca aside of course) The berbas,forlans,djemba djemba's and anderson( who has been here 4 years) will always be transfer misses in terms of proving their worth(apart from 1 season berba was pretty much a flop)

Yes, United had hits and misses, just like any other club in the *** world. How did Aebayour and Santa Cruz work for City? How about the 40 players 18+ year old players Arsenal signed and never played? How about Bosingwa, Luiz and Schevchenko for Chelsea? Did I mention Powell and Jones? Smalling is here two seasons in which he played about 50 games against the best in the league, and that's at the age of 22, Kagawa was the key player in the last two seasons in the champions of the 3rd best league in the world. Any thing else?

They is one thing you are missing pal,when wigan come knocking for michu they let them in and only charge them 2 million or whatever it was.But when #MUFC come for the same kid it is suddenly 20m because of who WE are and the funds WE have available and also to attract offers from other clubs and bump the price up so it's not as simple as saying anderson this and bebe that is it...?

Then United need to start work on the academy,for if they dont produce the scholes,giggs,becks,nevilles,etc then it can easily be said that was a fluke....
