God darn hate these injuries we are having so after consideration my line-up would be the following:

Conflicted between whether to start Cleverley or scholes. Eitherway, I believe we will see a vast improvement in our squad with Valencia pushed further up, having an....erh...out and out striker up front, the return of a natural defender(hopefully) and Rooney and kagawa interchanging between each other in their "strongest role." If Evans is not available, I will put Carrick in center back and partner Cleverley with Anderson...It is shame we have such a stack squad , but not the right balance.

just to reiterate what the manager has said - rio, jones, smalling, evans are all still out the game against fulham. evans is nearing coming back from his operation but i don't think he will be put straight into the team after no pre season and won't be match fit. i would suggest the team will be: de gea, rafael, carrick, vidic, evra, valencia, cleverly, kagawa, young, rooney, van persie. subs: lindegaard, buttner (if registered in time, still not officially a utd player yet), nani, anderson, giggs, welbeck, hernandez.
