hehehehe you just reminded me of my favourite Anime ever....miss them....anyways hopefully we'll get someone who's potentially as good if not better than Sir Alex because Sir Alex is only human....Sir Matt was fantastic and no one thought there could be someone who could emulate his record but Sir Alex came into the scene and did just so.....maybe we'll get a third Sir in 10 years timeSmile

Alex won't retire, they will have to carry him out feet first.

Retirement is over rated, you just end up watching day time TV which we all know rots the brain, one other thing Alex if you read these posts, if you retire you will end up stuck with the Mrs all day.

    Re: SIR ALEX WONT RETIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He is 66 now.....in two years time he'll take over the record of Sir Matt as the longest serving post war manager in the league....and hopefully he'll be able to win another Champions League to become the manager with maximum number of Champions League trophies along side those other few.....but maybe he has some other more ambitious plans like winning the Champions League atleast twice before retiring....which will tie the Scouser's record....but he's quite old now and has a pace maker as far as I know so he shouldn't push himself too hard......but football's his life....it drives him on as someone above mentioned.....

He will retire, that's bitter sad truth, but at least his recent interview says it won't be in the near future.SO GLAD!!!Yeah,i wish him longevity and great health, and i'll dread the day to see another person sitting on his throne.Thinking about that gives me the shudders sometimes,to wonder if there can ever be anyone more apt or capable to replace sir alex.At least we don't have to think about that for now!He has the support of all the players and fans, and i really hope he goes on for a really long time!Viva Sir Alex!

Like most I don't want SAF to ever retire; however, one day it will have to become a reality. Hopefully it is many years down the road. I hope the thread is right and he stays as long as his health permits him!

I think saf will leave within five years. Last season he said the one piece of silverware he wanted to win most was the champions league trophy. The day after he won it he told reporters that he would leave in 3 years, i think thats whats been driving him. But im a true red and i hope saf never leaves because manchester united wont feel quite the same and he is the best football manager in the world.

    Uniteds flag is deepest red,
It shrouded all our Munich dead,
Before their limbs grew stiff and cold,
Thier hearts blood dyed its ev'ry fold.

    Then raise United's banner high,
Beneath its shade we'll live and die,
So keep the faith and never fear,
We'll keep the Red Flag flying here.

We'll never die, we'll never die,
We'll never die, we'll never die,
We'll keep the Red Flag flying high,
'Cos Man United will never die

Oh Rafael Da Silva, he comes from Brazil
he tackles hard, hes fast as *** and hes got bags of skill
he signed for Man United to play on our right wing
and if hes ever injured than well play his *** twin!!

Oh Fabio Da Silva, he comes from Brazil
He tackles hard, hes fast as *** and hes got bags of skill
he signed for Man United to play on our left wing
And if hes ever injured than we've got his *** twin!!

    Re: SIR ALEX WONT RETIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Forgot to mention that right after Sir Alex said this summer that he'd leave in 3 years time....Rio came right back at the press predicting that Sir Alex would change his decision(as usual regarding his retirement). He loves the club too much to let himself see it managed by someone else....
