I think something funny is going on in the FA since the fixture list came out. Now they are giving our player a stupid ban in our least covered position. Couldn't have put it better myself. This ban is as biased as it gets.. 4 games banned and 15 thousand pounds fine as well simply for defending himself against racial abuse. The worst thing is that Bethell (or whatever his name is) got off scot free.. Chelsea get a fine too but thats all that they have to receive.

Yes Martin you nailed the irony of the whole situation right on the head:) But to be honest, I rather not see the joke of an organisation called FA give us any special favours like how they do to their pet Chelsea. First of all let me congratulate the FA for concluding the Evra vs. Chelsea incident in such a quick manner. It's only been what – 6 months?

I really think it is a good decision to ban Patrice Evra for four games, considering his 'in-game' fight with a Chelsea groundsman.

Also I am happy to see Evra being banned for something that happened after a game of football, and not in a game of football. Sure, someone can throw a coin at the crowd during the game a get a three game ban. And you can spit at someone during a game and get a two game ban. But you are right... An incident that didn't catch the eye of the common football fan is far more serious, and should be dealt with immediately.

I think the FA has been exceptionally quick and clever when judging Mr. Evras terrible attack on a completely innocent utility worker. .

It remains to be seen what is going to happen to the Chelsea groundsman. Sources from inside the FA claims he won't be allowed to cut the grass at Stamford Bridge for four weeks. Shocking.

really disgusted when i've read the news. why 4 matches.. when would be the carling cup semi final? chelsea is on jan 11. if the semis is on dec it is ok but if it is a latter date than jan 11. it would be ban against chelski.

hope fabio would be fit for the FA cup and carling semis... and oshea for the prem matches. or in any other order.. since SAF will weigh in our opponents.. really hope fabio would be featured in any of those matches..
