MATCH PREVIEW: MAN UTD VS ASTON VILLA:
OK, I am sick and tired of this. If we were a club battling for mid-table mediocrity, this result would have been OK. We are the World Champions for god's sake! What *** is going on, I don't know. Blame Fergie, he has made mistakes today as well, like playing Rooney on the wing again. That is ridiculous. Come on, he's a striker, why is he played on the wing? Stupid of Fergie. And how bad is Berba's ankle, I'd like to know. Villa, well, they are slowly fading away. I think they will decide the title this season, in their next 2 fixtures(Away at Anfield and OT). We have a great scoring record against them, but this season'll be tougher to score against them, hope Laursen doesn't return in time/
Desperate for a Win!
Seriously, this is getting out of hand. Losing 2-0 at Fulham? Come on, WTF was that all about? We need to win against Villa to get the title wrapped up fast! I'm afraid that without Scholes, Rooney, Ronaldo and maybe even Berba, that's not gonna be easy. We need to win badly.
Villa's away form:
Their away form has been the key to their performing so well this season, not their wins at Villa Park. I think their Away record is only second to Chelsea, so that's a lot to boast about anyway. I'm eagerly waiting for the next game of theirs, at Anfield to see how well they do. If they win, makes it all the tougher for us. But I do think we can beat them.
Suspensions:
Our suspended players are as follows-
1). Nemanja Vidic- Red Card, serving a 2 match ban as it's his 2nd.
2). Cristiano Ronaldo: Has picked his 5th Yellow card of the season, but doesn't that apply only till February or something? I remember seeing that somewhere.
3). Wayne Rooney: 2nd Yellow, so he was off at Fulham. I hope Fergie appeals the decision!
4). Paul Scholes: Not a huge loss, we have a lot of cover there. So we might do OK after his red card.
Starting XI:
Suspensions apart, Dimitar Berbatov is the only other doubt for this game, but I think he'll make it. Cap'n back is a huge boost as O'Shea was looking tired after so many games as RB. And rumour has it that even Rafael may be back so no problem at RB. Evra will get his rest for this game, and he's been looking rather awkward recently not to mention. Carrick and Fletcher/Anderson will probably start in CM. Vidic is still suspended. Tevez to start unless Rooney's Red card is rescinded. We'll line up like this-
Please, this has to get us a win, I'm getting desperate!
Prediction:
Villa, coupled with a good away record and a falling form, will be tough to beat, as they will wanna get back to business. But we have to do whatever we can to stop them, you hear Fergie? We have to win this game, it's very important that we do. I think we shall! Come on you devils and show us what you can do huh! I predict a 3-2 win for us, with maybe Agbonlahor scoring a brace for them. I don't want a big win, I want Villa to qualify for the Champions League!
PLAYER TO WATCH: DIMITAR BERBATOV:
Wasn't at all at his best at Fulham, but no one was, so I expect that Berba will be raring to go on these Villains from Birmingham. I hope he can score against them, finally, and I hope he can also score his first hat-trick as well. Come on Berba! Win us the game!
That's it from me, baton passed!
