yer im gutted too, but i was expecting it to be honest. i wish in all his interviews he had, he would have been a man and been honest instead of feeding us a load of bullshit about wanting to stay.80 million is a lot of money, and i hope we spend it wisely and bring another great player to old trafford. i think he has made a big mistake in leaving the biggest club in the world and going to another which has won nothing for a couple of seasons . good luck ronaldo, and i hope we meet you in the champions league next season, and prove to you that we are the greatest club ever when we woop your ***.i really hope we can keep tevez.

Personally, The hell with him, of course he will be remebered by his goal tally, specially on our champions league win in 2008, but he has lost the most valuable thing that a player can get, and that is the possibilty to be remebered as a legend.

Thanks to ronaldo for the amazing seasons BUT, now he goes to a club with no identity whatsoever, yes they have 9 champiosn league trophies, bue they do not know how to run a cluyb anymore, how to produce legends, how to grow and fidn new talente, the simply spend and spend trynig to buy succes rather than achieveing it you all united fans know the difference of what im saying because our club will continue to produce talent and will continue to grow with players who really know waht being a unite player means.

I've had a dim view of Ronaldo ever since last season and his antics to engineer a move to Real, so tbh ive been hoping that he would move to free up transfer money so we can get players who wont constantly court clubs in the off season, even tho he was never a player i was fond of il say thankyou for the goals and assists he contributed, hopefully the money coming in will be available for strengthening and i really wudnt mind seeing some of that money used to keep Tevez at OT

the problem is with real!!!!! if they didn't offer the money,man utd would not agree to sell CR.it would be difficult to replace CR,rumors are on Ribery,Karim Benzema, Klaas-Jan Huntelaar,but i think they won't come....fergie won't be as stupid as real in offering the next world-record transfer fee trying to buy the respectively players.kaka is really foolish to have leave ac for real....then now it will be more foolish plus additional stupid for ronaldo to leave the best club in england,probably the best in the world.

Ronaldos not the best player in the world Messi is and if a player doesnt want to stay at utd thats his problem .its all downhill from here ronnie .

I am shocked to see this happen. But I guess SAF did the right thing. It must be annoying hearing all the ronaldo transfer Sh*t and the oney he got aswell is well worth it.

By June 30th, the grey cloud over OT will finally be gone, wearing a pair of gucci shades bee lining for Madrid.....I know a lot of people are reeling because they think of his goal tally, free-kicks and penalty taking abilities, make no mistake about it Ronaldo was gifted. But I beg all those people who are appalled by todays news, look at the silver lining......finally we get to be a BALANCED TEAM again!! For far too long Manchester United could have been called the "The Ronaldo Show" week in week out, game in game out, it was all about Ronaldo, Fergie had to sacrifice the performances at one stage or another of Tevez, Berbatov and ESPECIALLY Rooney to accommodate Ronny. We were subjected to his moaning, screaming like a spoiled child when something didnt go his way, snapping jackets from trainers when he was substituted and I wont start to discuss the diving issues. The point I'm trying to make is this, Ronaldo is one in a million, no doubt, but this is exactly the problem, trying to accomodate this player, with an ego the size of OT's trophy room, ultimately upsets the balance and the harmony of the team. With Ronaldo gone, granted we lose his goals, but I'm sorry give me a harder working right-sided midfielder, and let Rooney Berbatov and Tevez do their thing and we'll be just fine. There's also the small matter of 80 million to discuss also! Bad business are you kidding me? We've stopped the rot and we're 80 mill up.....Are you watching merseyside?
