It's true though, I also heard it! They said that Chelsea have put in a bid for him and that United are currently monitoring the situation, apparently there's no bid from us so far.

Interesting as Sergio rejected them, but you never know in football, it would be a huge blow if we miss out on such a talent. I think becuase it said "united are monitoring the situation", do u think we will place a bid, just like we did straight after Real placed a bid for Benzema, it might have ended not favoring us, ,aybe this time it would favor us. I am always optimistic, the world knows that :-D

Yeah, i would also be soo very very gutted in every way possible if Chelsea got him. It would hurt so much. But anyway, with that said, i do believe that if it came to it, Aguero would choose United ahead of Chelsea anyday so i guess we shouldnt be too worried.

 Is this a fresh, higher bid or reporting of the first bid which was rejected and where sergio asked for 200,000 net pw and then said he would only go to club with history.

 even if we do get aguero there is no guarentee he will stay for a long time. I imagine he will go back to spain after 3-4 years at the most spec when real madrid come knocking after fergie makes him one of the best in the world.

going by how popular he is on here and the best signing and value for money due to age imo i think there would mutiny and bloodshed if chelski beat us too him.

Talksport just said a source believes that Chelsea have made a bid for Sergio Aguero and Manchester United are monitoring his situation very closely. They also revealed that United were interested in Owen before anyone else. We'll see what happens anyway. It does seem that United do actually have an interest in Aguero.
