    Re: Ben vs Tomasz

This was a bad game for Foster and probably he cost us the game but let's not overreact please.i think there will be Tomasz in the starting lineup vs Birmingham so we will see who is the better from two of them but i have to admit things doesn't look to good for Ben at the moment...

If they are good enough they are old enough
If you don't put them in you can't know what you've got

Don't slate Ben just because of today, he's still our future number 1. Many of the ones who'll be attacking him in the following days are the same people who praised him after we won the Carling Cup last season.

So how do you replace Paul Scholes? Simple! You DON'T

After seeing the Chelsea match today .....a match where the referee blew it ...all & the disgousting german *** .... Ben Foster is nothing .... compared to Tomas Kruschack !

I'm sorry don't hold it against me ..i'm not English i knwo you are looking foreword to a great goalkeeper for your National team which i'm a big fan by the way (i'm a romanian) ... but Foster isn't up to the task ....anyway i hope that for his sake he will get better ...but for the moment TOMAS comes 2nd after VDS

Spot on with the national element to Foster's survival in the squad. I'm not much of a fan of either, but Kusczak has certainly risen far above Foster, who's all but useless. I NEVER feel confident going into a match with him in goal!

yep thats true, what ive observed here is people basically forcing foster, as england doesnt have a good goalkeeper. In preseason kuszczak was way better than foster and i cant understand just pushing for foster, when he isnt even that good.

    Ben vs Tomasz

Last season, some clown wrote to me that Tomasz deserved the rotten eggs and Foster is a better keeper than Tomasz because Tomasz looks shaky and clumsy in front of goal. I felt then that some fans had treated Tomasz unfairly and misjudged him, and I still stand by that view today.

In the warm up game against a 100+ FIFA ranked team Malaysia, the Malaysian forward exposed Forster's clumsiness to score a goal. While some may argue it's only a warm up, the current game against Chelsea again exposed Forster's clumsy schoolboy error, with poor distribution and clearance of the ball, not to mention the shaking pair of goalkeeping hands.

I say it's time to give Tomasz a first team choice this season, because I have never seen him play like how Forster did against Chelsea today. With Forster's performance today, it looks like Ben may be warming the bench for a long time and Tomasz may see more first team action. Bring on Tomasz, Tomasz, Tomasz.... so who's the clumsy keeper now then, Ben or Tomasz?Smile
