Re: Happy Birthday Roy Keane (38) (NOW Ipswich Related) GENERAL DISCUSSION

Happy now very belated Birthday! Hope his brilliant football brain and influence sticks in the game for many years to come, need more like Keaney to keep the balance right in the flash and ruthless nature of modern day football where commercialisation threatens to loose sight and appreciation of the great game.

Irish luck to wing it's way to you, your family and new club in bid for promotion! Will never forget that game played against Juventus, that has to be the best single performance by one player I have ever seen- it was what he was all about. Crowning with a goal and the selfless way you pushed on-what an emphatic and brilliant player. I could say more but I'd best bore off now.

    Wise Words!

“Before the game there was all this stuff about anti-*** and anti-bullying. It would be a good idea to start wearing wristbands for anti-diving.”

“Maybe Gary deserves to be chased up a tunnel every now and then - there would be a queue for him, probably. But you have to draw a line eventually.”

Re: Happy Birthday Roy Keane! (38) Put Your Best & Worst Memory Of Keano!

With all the little duals (arguments) that went on / going on in this thread, i was thinking how fitting it was about Roy Keane a man that was no stranger to the odd argument himself.

Im sure Roy would be proud of this thread !!!

I was just telling the last poster that Roy's B-day had passed.

Lol like he'd know that was directed to him.

i am sure taken as red, matt and gavinio will make this place a better one. we were crying out for mods and you couldnt really pick better mods out of all the posters here, they know what they are doing, it will benefit the forums in the long term, im sure.

this keane thread will live, trust me. even if less people post on it. soloman why dont you pop over here every now and again and we can have a chat about keane and his ipswich days? i have plenty of time for good old keano.
