    Excellent post Robi,

Can I just say if it wasn't for Sammy getting Morecambe promoted, they wouldn't be moving to a new stadium next season, let's hope they can stay up!

Really good read, makes a change to see something informative!  Love reading about the clubs history and the players, playing all these years ago. Lets you see just what this great clubs all about. Wish these great writes could stay in the section permanently.

    Pepe Chareetur:

I can see the ' Legends Forum ' becoming interesting now.

Other than robi, our midfielder , we need more articles from Gavinio , Aragon, Matt Cornejo, redirish, Le roi de Manchester, Monte Christo and the other popular ones.

How about reddevilgirl? She must be having her favourite player of the past.

I derive lot of pleasure reading about legends rather than recent misfits.

    Great job !

you would probably appreciate the place in my siggy as well then

    Re: Legends Profile: Sammy McIlroy

Yes ! I watched McIiroy play several times during his Manchester United days. Very skilful player. Always gave his best. He could easily be distinguished by his long hair.

I stay about 12 000kms from England. So when I make mention of watching Sammy play for Manchester United, you must understand I watched him on the silver screen.

Like I mentioned in one post, I'm doing film-making. I've my own company but things are just starting to happen.

When I've made enough money, I'll definitely come to the UK and travel all over from London to Manchester, Cardiff, Corke, Huddlesfield and wherever to interview these great Manchester United fans and offer the finished product to the club for them to flight it on MUTV.

It might happen next year. That of course, if someone else doesn't beat me to it.

Till then, keep trim and save your best attires. I'm sure you'd like to look like one of the legends, yourself !

    Cheers!
