That's your opinion.

I only pointed out mine. I feel Rooney is a good player but not as big a threat as Berba.

While watching the Manchester United/Chelsea match, please watch who the Chelsea players will be marking more closely., Rooney or Berba. It will give you a clear indication of who the bigger threat is.

Rooney will desert his centre forward role and move onto the wing to be free of close marking whereas Berba will stick amidst the opposition defenders. That's a common sight in every Manchester United game when any or both of them are involved

I emphasise, Berba must start and must remain on the field for a good period of time to impose his game.

What are you on about??? Do you know anything about Berbatov. Berbatov is an absolute fantastic player, yeah he could do with scoring more but his contribution is way above many top players in the prem! even his work rate is so much better than what it used to be like. I would have him my team any day!!

My reply:

I've watched Cantona play (on tv) many many times. There's no doubt that he is a superb player, a catalyst in the Manchester United revival. I'm not going to argue about that and I must admit he's done wonders for Manchester United.

Talking about his touches --- sometimes people refer to them as ' flicks' . Well I've seen many of his flicks. Some wonderful ones and some not wonderful ones. I've seen him miss many of his flicks also, which led Martin Tyler  in one of his match commentary say that ...Cantona doesn't always get them right. But when he does, it's a wonder to watch.

It is a bit hard for me to recollect against which team Manchester United was playing on that evening, but if you ask Martin Tyler if he ever made a similar remark, I'm sure he won't hesitate in affirming it.

And -- in defence of Berba, I think he's shown us some wonderful touches or flicks, whatever you may call them. He's already given us several 'acrobatic' goals., call them volleys, overhead kicks, scissors kicks, he's already mesmerised us. 

Now, just think if he is given the proper service. Can you imagine what great goals he's going to score for us?

I am of the opinion that Berba must start all important matches and that also in the centre forward position. He must start getting used to that position and he must not be kept on the bench and to come as a substitute.

Save Giggs , Berbatov is more talented than all the Manchester United players. He may be lacking in body strength but it's all compensated by his footballing skills and ingenuity. If he starts the matches more often and gets the proper service, he will outscore everybody in the team. But he must stick to the centre forward role.

For me Berba must stay at Manchester United. He is too good a player.

If you think Berba is so bad he should be totally dropped from the team, then your opinion is meaningless to me. Sure, he's not really fulfilled his 30m price tag's potential, but there's much more to come from him. His technique in the way he controls the ball is outstanding, he's got fantastic vision, positioning and great height to win headers. The only thing letting Berba down for me at the moment is his lack of scoring goals, his creativity in terms of passing is sublime at times. Macheda and Welbeck don't have enough experience under their belts yet, which is why I think Fergie is sticking with Berba/Rooney/Owen the majority of the time; the same goes for Obertan.

Tosic hasn't even played in the first team, Obertan has played 3 times. Yes they look good players, but atm better? I dont think so.

Nani hasn't done anything no, all the awesome goals he's scored and won us 3 points on a few occasions and running an in-form Arsenal team ragged by using his pace, flare and skill. Thye clearly mean nothing lol...
