    Re: Why not Lukas Podolski?

    Acute:

Lukas Podolski is a top-class player. He has everything to be a great player, He has pace, strength and is a proven goal scorer. He has scored 35 goals for Germany is just 68 matches. He can a very good replacement for Giggs, and even for C. Ranaldo.

He was the young player of World cup 2006 when C.Roanldo, Messi were there as well. He could not get more exposure because he was not playing a big club like Man Utd and Barcelona. But I think he can be as lethal as anyone.  Plus he can play as a forward or in midfield as a left winger. He is a utility and must have player. And we can get him on the cheap as well. we will not have to pay like 30-40m for him...

He won best young player because he's a german player, and the world cup was played in germany... Messi didn't play that much in that world cup, and still player better than podolski.. The one who really deserved it was ronaldo.. I don't know how it really went, but they had a web page i which you couldvote for your favorite young player.. then they picked the top 3 ore something, then picked 3 they felt like including (one of them podolski) and then decided to give the award to podolski.. based on what? total mistery.. yes, he's a great goalscorer.. but in no way better than messi or ronaldo.. not back then, and certainly not now..
    He's won it 11 times
    He's won it 11 times
That boy Giggsy he's won it 11 times

Podolski is a good player, one of my favorites i think he would play well at united, but i dont think it would be our best choice as of now, we could probly get him for around 10 mil, so he would be a god choice if we spend big on someone else. I think we should get Van Der Vaart for the midfield, Anderson has potential but his passion is in question. so 2 world class players for around 20 million would be a good deal

He did not make it at Bayern Munich but he does make it for Germany.... so what is that? =

A risk that United might not be willing to take.   As of late he seems to play his best football for Germany, not for club.

    Acute:
As i said earlier, he has pace, strength, finishing touch and he scores goals with ease.

Not at Bayern he didn't, 72 or so appearances, 15 goals.  Hardly scoring at ease.   I am not 100% certain, but I don't think he has scored much yet this season.

So there might be better options out there for United.

He did not make it at Bayern Munich and they loaned/sold (idk) back to Koln. That's why he will not make it at Manchester United....... or maybe I am wrong. Surprise

    Manchester United forever :D
