Re: 1-0. GUESS WHO CREATED IT AND GUESS WHO SCORED?!

an interesting fact Rooney and Berbatov are the only two strikers who play for the same team who are in the top scorers list (apart from Bellamy and Adebayor) out of the 23 league goals united have scored berbatov and rooney have scored 11 of them i don't think there is anything wrong with there partnership as some people on this message board have a good moan about i would say this however we are lacking a world class winger Valencia is lacking confidence Nani is i am sorry to say absolutely rubbish and Giggs will pick up niggling little injury's if he is expected to play the amount of games we will need a player of his class and quality to play if we are expecting to win silverware i would say most united fans are salivating at the prospect of signing David villa in January but the player i am most excited about is his mate David Silva.

So why hasn't this thread been moved? Anyone?

Anyways, the only person (who i've noticed) that doesn't hide from Berbatov is 666. I regularly agree with his posts no matter how negative or positive they are. He gives constructive views on Berbatov and Berbatov with Rooney unlike others..

Ditto - the Berba-bashers will remain silent for the time being. They, however, will crawl from under their rocks sooner than later. Hopefully later than sooner but their meaningless lives need to slate Berba to make it all seem worthwhile.

that was an awsome goal from a great player.

anyway the haters will keep quiet until the next time united have a bad game and then they will put all of the blame on berbatov again nomatter how isolated he may be at the time, some fans just need someone to make a scapegoat of when we don't win as they just don't understand how great players and teams are still human and can have an off day.

right mate berba is always made the scapegoat for our losses.rio has had a pretty bad season but we fans still support him and dont want him to leave.i think we should do the same with berba also.berba is pure class, just needs to find the net often like he did fantastically last game.

What I was glad to see - was how Berbatov celebrated his goal! Like he knew he was under a bit of pressure.

Hopefully he will push on from this.

until berbatov starts scoring on a regular basis this means nuffin, great goal but consistency is the most important thing for berbatov, can't just score a goal then not score for 8, 9 pl games.

we need a goalscorer people, can berbatov really score us 25 goals a season i hope so but i very much doudt it.

The way Berba has been playing so far this season I see no reason why he can't go on to score 20+ goals.

Saturday's goals was absolutely brilliant, probably goal of the season. Glad Rooney also got himself on the score sheet Yes

    As Simply_Red has said...

We're not Berba Haters.... No one can hate any player from the team they support/idolize.

I was groaning up until his goal... Hearing Chelsea had pasted Bolton away and Liverpool had lost - I was anticipating a 4-0 (and hoping - bearing in mind i'd shelled out around £100 in ticket & travel)

But yes, great goal from Berba! Lets hope he produces the goods at "The Bridge".

And to add onto what Simly_Red has mentioned... Great game from Carrick!

But could not comprehend how Obertan missed that sitter! It could have been 4 or 5 nil... but lets hope we take the chances against Chelsea.

The players capable of what Berbatov is doing are very few. It is rare pleasure to watch him perform. It is distasteful and plain stupid to even think negatively against him. Of course if you are true ManUtd fan. Thus I believe all that throw garbage at him in this forum are supporters of other teams - Liverpool. Chelsea, Arsenal to name a few. So let's ignore them!

Saw the game and it was a fantastic goal...it was funny how the commentators were playing it down saying 'it was a bit lucky it went under the players arm'...wat a load of ****...it was a class finish..back to goal swivel and shot...real gem not sure if it beats the one he scored against sunderland...really enjoyed his celebration you could tell he really enjoyed that..I have got high hopes for him this season and hope he continues scoring crackers like that

Re: to all berba haters-wat about that !!!!!

m happy berba scored will do a good for his confidence....but what the people here are missing the point is that he does not do it enough...m not a berba hater....neither m his biggest fan....m a Manchester United F.C supporter and will support all players who play for my beloved club...

but berba should have got a hattrick...out of the 5 to 7 chances he had..if it was rooney in his place rooney would have finished atleast 50 p.c of all those chances...its incredible to see that berba cant head the ball right at all...he always misses headers...instead of praising him and building him up so much for a decent performance and ofcourse a very well taken but lucky goal it just went under the defenders arm cause he lifted his arms not that berba aimed it there

see he is talented but he needs to perform like he did consistently against big teams too...now that would really help us reach our full gear....

i enjoyed his performance but building him up and to see half of the people who are supporting him here would then again go behind his back and call him berbaflop which is just not right

its amazing to see that Man Utd fans atleast the glory hunters can be like real madrid's fans...its really sad...but atleast there are a few true fans still around in these forums...thats encouraging....

but berba is good but simply put he needs to put such consistent performances every week in and week out to be considered not just a technical gifted player but one of the best players in the world...until then m happy to say he is improving but he still has some way to go but i like the way he has improved his play since last season though i will not say last season was bad it was pretty good too..but he seems to get better and if he can perform like he did against blackburn with better finishing and like he did against wolfsburg united would one hell of a force to be reckoned with even in europe.....greater than they already are at the moment
