Lets hope not ! He just isnt good enough

He may have skills (however, no speed), may be young (22? oh no, see what's age of Messi)

the worst part is, he just has no soccer intelligence, he doesn't know when to pass, when to run, when to shoot, he is a bad team player, that's all, he should be let go!!!!!

Nani is in talks with Manchester United over a new £10million four-year deal.

The Portuguese, who moved to Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon for £12.5m two years ago, has been offered wages of around £50,000 a week. And People Sport understands he will sign his new contract this month.

The offer of new terms will come as a surprise to many United fans, because the 22-year-old has not fulfilled the potential which persuaded Sir Alex Ferguson to sign him.

But there is a feeling that Nani is starting to come of age and that, now he is out of Cristiano Ronaldo's shadow, he will finally begin to blossom.

By offering him a new deal, Sir Alex will show Nani that he has faith in him to become Ronaldo's replacement.

well, it's great news if it's true. one thing that will need to change though is the assumption that he is to be a direct replica of Ronaldo. he is a different player, and he doesn't need that pressure on him. let's hope that he can step up knowing that Sir Alex is confident in his abilities.

If this is true than Nani has got to step it up more become more consistent not just one game here and there i mean every week thats the high expectations that this club has forany player whether they are world class or youngsters coming through.Nani has alot of potential to become world class but i dont think he should be compared to Ronaldo let him be his own man with his own style and see where that gets him Nani like is aid has alot of work to do though to reach the leval Ronaldo was at but if this is a sign that Fergie believes in him than so be it.I still think we need Silva though just to give us more options more flair and more creavity.

yeah i agree with this i wish they would see nani as nani and not ronaldo

Nani will never be offered a new deal. Our interest in Silva highlights that.If Obertan can impress in the next few months Nani could very well be off in January.

If NANI sign a new deal means that SAF trust him. hope he will progresse faster, but MAN UTD need someone like Da Silva 23yrs old or Di Maria to fight in champions league. So Tosic and Obertan will get experience with them and Giggs.

Park got an extended deal, so why not Nani? I still hold some faith in Nani and I hope he repays that faith with some great performances

this is a good news. Whatever slaters say about Nani, im sure he is being given this contract because he duely deserves it and earned it. only the manchester united staff adn coaches can see what Nani does in training and in games and in every day efforts to merit such contract. so before any1 sdlates him fthat he doesnt5 deserve a new contract well ask urself if u know better than our coaching staff who can see NANI every day.

congrats Nani in advance and i hope u sign that extension. Hopefully this will motivate u to do well..
