Re: Before we start "SLATING", remember this.....

    VIOLLET10:

It's Nani's 3rd season - and he still performs as he did when he first joined. With just 12 goals in 84 games - 5 in the League and 0 goals in the Champions League. - He is simply not delivering... and we will be saying the same this time next year if he is still with us.

Im not bashing Nani - just stating that facts.

There is a diffrence between stating facts and making predictions and your facts are quite inrelevant i mean how much does giggs score? and how much has obertan scored so far in his carreir? Unfortunally Nani makes a lot of bad decisions on the pitch but maybe his just a slow learner he still have potential and he's still young. My problem with Nani is that he has terrible possesion of the ball, a little to do with strength but usually it's his first touch on the ball as he recievs it and he squandors oppertunities to often by taking long shots if fergie can fix it i think he should stay. Weird thing is he his quite good when plaing for internationals.

Nani has potential, but he hasn't improved much the last few seasons. He might be a top player, but I think Obertan has more talent. He and Evra might get good conection because they are both French players.

I support the sentiment not to slate our players and giving them time to settle in. But I don't see those you list having had a few dodgy seasons. Ronaldo wasn't the finished product for sure, but he made a statement of intent straight away, and the others you mention didn't waste any time in making an impact.

How come you get to be a mod and I don't when we have similar post amounts Sad

Nani spent 3 seasons on the bench, behind the likes of Ronaldo, Tevez, Giggs and even Park.... how much improvement do you guys expect from him ?

This is a massive season for him, so stop slating him and comparing him to the likes of Ronaldo or Messi... the last thing he needs is these *** talk

We already got the two brightest talents in football in Nani and Anderson ... and we cannot afford to lose them

My view is that top players need no time to bed in.

As Sir Matt Busby once famously said "If they a good enough, they are old Enough".

Giggs, Scholes, Beckham - didn't need that much time to bed in. Rooney started life at OT with a Champions League hat-trick. Ronaldo took two seasons to mature into a better player and reach double figures.

It's Nani's 3rd season - and he still performs as he did when he first joined. With just 12 goals in 84 games - 5 in the League and 0 goals in the Champions League. - He is simply not delivering... and we will be saying the same this time next year if he is still with us.

The problem is alot of these people slating these players seem to forget the majority of them are still kids. Andersons only 20 years old Nani's 22 these guys are still kids you cant expect to become the best players in the world over night.

What was Ronaldo's age (both of them) when they were/are world class players? What age is Rooney and Messi? And Giggs at his debut? George Best?

lol you're naming a select few of elite players when MOST do not reach anywhere near that level until around 24 and over. i.e. diego, fletcher

The thing about Nani is that he's been here for years but he hasn't seemed to improved in the slightest, if anything he's gotten worse. All he needs is to pick his head up and think a bit quicker but instead he is intent on trying to dribble past every player on the pitch so everyone will know how great his is.

Though I disagree with Anderson and Berbatov, I don't know why they'd need time and show us their worth as I am very happy with how they've played since they got here.

Nani has been at United for 3 years. You would think he at least have connection with our fullbacks. But he is still doing random passes, the reason why Ronaldo was great was because he had a fantastic connection with Evra. Nani needs to leave.

Really now, read the thread message before replying with a post of that nature, if you have a problem with Nani, post it one of the Nani bashing threads, you will feel right at home there!

Gabranth, do you actually think anderson and nani have the quality even close to the players you mentioned? those players are top top class players. it's unfair to use them as comparison against players not as good.

People will always slate.. its annoying but its part and parcel with having such a huge and successfull team who are expected to win convincingly every single game week in and week out. Nani still needs to click . Berbatov is class and i dont see why hes ever slated to be honest but it seems when the whole team plays bad its all his fault?? hah. Andersons 1 of my favourites, dont ask me why. jst think hes tha man!! when hes on fire hes flippen insane!!! jst remember that game against gerrard where he had him in his pocket. hah. Im excited for obertan the most tho. hes tha man!!
