We will see come January or May what the verdict is on Berbatov. I Don't dislike or hate him... I'd just like everyone to wait until this season is finished, see what we win and for him to be judged on that.

It's pointless when people think their negative comments are justified when he has an average game.... or on the flip side when he produces a great flick - assist or even a goal.

I would have thought there would have been far more threads on NANI !

He still wouldnt be my ideal choice to partner Wayne Rooney....but thats just my opinion.

Well he might not score on big games, but truly he had like 6 of them so far, and he only could score one in his first year... He is the perfect partner for Wazza AND for Owen, he brings beauty to our game and i would give a lot more than 30 mil if I could see a little more of those sunderland, blackburn style volleys, and of course if I were SAF.

plus sometimes rooney needs to b benched as well....

We all know that Berba is world class. And im glad hes getting on the score sheet more often, if he gets ten in the PL by January ill be very happy.

They always go silent when they realise that Berbatov is actually a decent player. He's a lazy-good-for-nothing until he turns and slams in a volley from 10 yards. That's how fickle fans can be. I've always rated him and he seems to be getting better with each game. He's not so different to Van Nistelrooy, well except that VN used to score for fun. But VN used to go long periods in a game without contributing, but all it took was a Beckham cross for Van Nist to add value to a match. Berba is the same in that vain, he spends long periods out of the game but when he gets on the ball he makes things happen.

I liked his celebration too. To me it seemed like a statement, he was saying 'COME ON' as he slid towards the United fans. A signal for him to invite the fans to accept him. Genius!

  Thats the only thing I want him to add to our game... to score regulary n for fun. He can do it I know, but he first needs to be more convinving with his headers and do more what he did against blackburn i.e get into the box! He did a good job against bolton too, but I want him to keep that up and dont go missing against chelsea like he did against liverpool. hes one of the few stars we can truly count on and it really upsets me when he goes missing! Then I start wondering like the "fickle" fan maybe there is someone else with a 30 Million tag on him who could do more in such matches... I know you could blame the mid-field for the liverpool game but our strikers weren't doing enough either.

   Then again following his performance against blackburn I want him to get better n better... start banging in the goals n theres no way anyone would complain about him! N that includes me...

Still, Berba is finally living up to everyone's expectations, and I couldn't be happier if I tried. Plus that goal? Whoooah, it came almost from nowhere, he just shows that he has what it takes to produce goals whenever....I was blown away, even the commentators didn't see it coming :)

Berbatov is a classy player , full of grace. I think he is a danger for every defence.  With the limited supply he got , he has managed to pile up goals. I think if he is given a slightest space he will charge on that. But the issue is nobody creates that space for him & he himself has to come to midfield , get the ball & dribble. 

 Hope united players can add a bit of Creativity & Aggresive on the play !

Once again brilliant is all i can say to describer Berbatov on Saturday he worked extremly hard and it worked out perfectly for him and now i can finally say that i believe he can score more than 15 goals this season. But main thing i want to know is where have all the BERBATOV BASHERS GONE?
