    Re: Villa or Aguero

I haven't seen Villa recently although if we opted for Aguero over Villa I wouldn't feel disappointed.. As for general if we bring in a striker I'd be happy with any of the following: Huntelaar, Luis Fabiano, Luis Suarez, Fabio Quagliarella, Villa, Aguero

Villa is very good, but I still say Aguero very much so. He is very young and I see him as Messi type player.

    Re: Villa or Aguero

Nahh, i disagree, if it were up to me, it would definetely be Aguero.

i maybe be from Australia, but we aussies know just as much bout european football as anyone. Aguero is a classy finisher and young. Don't get me wrong, Villa is just as good but is too old. And if you saw the game Atletico V Chelsea (2-2) Aguero got both goals and they were crackers. So its Aguero for me ;)

    KinngEric:

I know he's not one of your options but I'd honestly think we'd be much better off with the likes of Huntelaar.

Huntelaar would be a very good optoin.

    Champions07-08-09:

    Adam Cooper:

    Aguero.

younger, quicker, stronger, and can make something happen out of nothing!

he is a future ballon d'or winner in my opinion.

now dont get me wrong villa is class aswell, but from what ive seen of him he strays away when being challenged strongly.

i remember the USA V SPAIN match in the confed cup, and onyewr (sp) clattered him a few times, and he was completely missing after that!

he does well in spain because people dont challenge him like that, its mainly just shoulder barges not full on leg breakers.

argentinians have a very simular style to english players, and i think him and rooney would be great together

hahahahaha aguero is useless against any team who can actually defend Villa is a far far better player but i don't think we need a striker we have 5 strikers and have another 1 coming in january so i think it would do more harm than good signing another.

    at this guy above!

To all that doubt Aguero, this is why I choose him over Villa...or any player really. People say he can't handle England (Dizza), Aguero scores two against Chelsea. I'm telling you from watching this guy for twoish years he is absolute absolute class!

    Re: Villa or Aguero

    Totally agree with KinngEric,

We should have got Huntelaar before he went to Madrid and again when he left, Villa is going to be past it soon but he is excellent now, Aguero has been abismal this year in La liga, every game I have watched he has misplaced the ball and only scores from rebounds, he would be owned by John Terry, Carragher, even Richard Dunne....!!
