young talent ,unproven, overpriced we have a lot of young talent in our squad but not all make the grade its a gamble, but not worth it at 30+mill.

I think Villa is the better option, and by the time Villa is past his prime, Welbeck, King, and Macheda should be starting to come into their own. I like Aguero, but Villa is the better option, and should be cheaper.

Aguero is so overrated - one of the most overrated players ever.

Watch him play a little bit and then get all excited about him.  Do not just watch the 2-3 youtube selected clips.

I watched the last Atletico Madrid game - this weekend - they lost to Athletic Bilbao - and Aguero was MIA the whole time.  He was one of weakest players on the field.  Watch 2-3 AM games before writing about him - he should be rated 15-20 million at the most.

Did you also watch the Chelsea - AM game - how can you say that Aguero is great?

    - Mufc.:

i bet he'd sign him if he had the chance!

If we got him for a reasonable price then SAF would consider it. But Atletico are asking for too much for someone in his early 20's. I do not SAF is considering him at the moment. He hasn't really proved himself yet. He is a brilliant talent , do not get me wrong but we need more proof of his ability.

do u think may be a sign for us to take our chance cs im not aware of any other team that has currently been linked with him...this is our chance...the only thing standin in the way now is fergie and the price tag on aguero...if we dnt get villa, then we have to get aguero

I think he is a brilliant player but he is very young and overpriced. Villa will settle in quicker I think and will score more.

Ancelotti never said he didn't want Aguero! He said they weren't thinking about other players and that's quite obviously because he doesn't know whether the ban will be suspended or not. It has already been confirmed that Chelsea bid for Aguero in the summer so Ancelotti clearly does want him and if the ban is suspended then i'm pretty sure Chelsea will bid for him again. Yes we've been linked with Aguero but only by the media, None of this was ever confirmed and surely if Chelsea had bid and we were interested we'd have bid too?
