    Re: Valencia!!!!!!! :D

well this post is 4 Valencia

maybe isn't yet the best player, but sttep by step is growing up

i'm from ecuador and having 5 years same his game, seriously guys he needs to "install" in MANUTD

he's in good way 3 gols in a few game

pdta 1: when he scored, he scored the last goal of manutd

pdta 2: some Manutd's fans in Chile, santiago?? (like me...)

Re: Official Match Tracker thread - United v CSKA

Ultimately wasnt a bad result, at least we showed some grit and determination to get back to 3-3... albeit with a deflection for the third.

Gary Neville was immense today, he didnt stop running up until the final whistle!! He was determined to get us back in the game and did everything that he could, so well done G Nev..

Scholesy - lovely rise for the goal and unlucky on the free kick.

Valencia - needs to grow some, big time.. Gets in positions enough, but its so obvious where he's going to go.. hopefully he'll start mixing it up a bit, but well done today. At least he took that shot for the deflected goal and got us back to 3 all.

We needed Evra on, I was glad to see Rooney come on but, I dunno - he's just not firing.. If you see the second goal that Drogba scored today - when he was against 4 Atletico players, you'll see what I mean.. We just need Rooney to do more up front. He gets back too often trying to influence play in my opinion..

Wes Brown - deary me, that was pathetic today. Please play to the whistle, you could've done something about that 2nd goal - if you get the chance to watch him when they score the second goal, just watch him waddle about like an idiot.

Jonny Evans - Not bad, got caught out a few times.. but he needed Evra with him. Fabio left him too exposed. Fabio - not good enough for this level yet - has his rear end handed to him tonight.

Fletch - Stonewall penalty. Great to see him getting forward so often. Fletch to score at Stamford Bridge anyone?!

Owen - Great positioning as per usual, was awesome to see him get through the full game today.

Great to see Obertan linking up well and getting into good positions, with a few more games, he'll build confidence and I'm sure we'll see him banging them in soon. Lots of potential there me thinks..

    Referee was an idiot.

    Monte_Cristo:

Yes. One big thing to note here is that SAF trusted Obertan by outting himm on even when we are losing. And that just shows and meant alot.

Hmmm not quite, well yes and no. Obertan was put on as a wide winger + fresh legs to stretch out CSKA and deliever crossess. SAF knew they're defense wasn't tight and showed to be leaky throughout the match by both wings.

But lol, good match! Need to sort out the defense and man-marking before Sunday against Chelsea.

Great game overall, considering that we were losing in the 70mins. I'll take 3-3 for this game since we not only salvaged a draw but we saved us from humiliation and keot our unbeaten streak in UCL. Many Positive things to note than negative. The only negative is, Brown and Evan as a partnership is not bad, its just that they just need more games together to have more understanding with VDS. simple as that. its not a crisis but its just a matter of them getting the full understanding soon. Positive? well first, Owen bags his first UCL goal and hope this will be the first of many. Macheda played well but frustratingly for FABIO he was unlucky to be caught off against the striker.

We showed again what Manchester is all about. We played until the last minute.Fought every bakll and shot wevery chance possible to get back in level terms and tried our best to even win the game. This really emphasized our truee team spirit, we dfont settle with just a lost and sometimes even if it is so hard to ask, we stioll try our best to win it if possible. but a draw from being beaten 1-3 is a very outstanding comeback! i say putting in rooney and Evra really changed the flow of the game but we should have had Obertan on the field earlier than expected. i wont take away anything form Macheda but Obertan's purpose is much needed in the field than Macheda. We were'nt penetrating inside out and to be honest, i was shocked when SAF brought out NANi instead. I wud have prefered nani stay and let Rooney play upfriont with Owen then let Anderson sub for fletcher but i guess i never saw it coming that even when losing SAF put in Obertan instead. Really a good move in mysterious ways.

    TRUST!!!

Yes. One big thing to note here is that SAF trusted Obertan by outting himm on even when we are losing. And that just shows and meant alot. SAF trsusts him ssoo much that he can constibute more in attack. So i guess we really have a STAR in the making!

I dont care if its OWN GOAL buit i will still think its VALENCIA's goal. he deserves it since he created the situation!

Nani and Anderson are disppointing in this season. We urgently need a powerful midfilder to sub Giggs and Scholes. Our defence line is very instable this year.

Nani I agree with but Anderson, no way, he's been doing well.

agreed. anderson has been impressive since he was dropped to the reserves. maybe we should do the same to nani.

Although we salvaged a draw, I think United really attacked well in the second half. Scholes was fantastic!Great comeback hehehehe. Anyway, defense obviously still needs some work on and I hope that that can be done by the Chelsea match, which will be nowhere near easy.

Gab....I will never look at United like you do.  You obviously know far more than I, far more than any other fan and far more than SAF.

You can't have a world class player at every position!

Would I rather have Maicon than Oshea, Sure.  Yet I would spend my money elsewhere.

Yeah Matt, but then when those other players make a mistake he will just be on about what a waste of money they were, lol.

Like who? I'd like to see you look for a post when I bashed Berbatov. I only point out the players not worthy of wearing the United shirt.

Try some reading comprehension classing Gab, was referring to signing players not here, kind of hard to find a post about a player who isn't here.    See what I am saying is even if we got in a bunch of different players you would still post the same stuff about them that you do about most of the current players.   But that is ok, your reading is on par with your football knowledge, lol.

Re: OMG! 3-3 peeps! What a UCL Week!

Yeah we really fought like the Man United we know towards the end...wish it started earlier though. It sounded like a graveyard in the stadium the crowd was so dead, CSKA fans stood us up in our home. We almost won though had the ref not robbed us of that penalty he made a few mistakes in that game...refereeing seems to get worse every game. But hows thats CSKA goalkeeper...god damn! what a player...flippen hell he saved like 7 definite goals.

     Jonny Evans was amazing.

Obertan played better in 10 minutes than Nani's 50+.

    Bring on Chelsea

    JONNY EVANS!

dont mean too sound like a muppet,

but i am up for chelsea, we have to fight the battle with what we have. but i am fearing the worst.

shambolic defending, i know its a make shift back four but that was awful.

obertan = 1 million times better than nani

I see people posting that Obertan should start against Chelsea. I think he is perfect right now as an impact substitute. Get him used to all of the different atmospheres and environments, while he makes a significant impact for us. Nani is the kind of player to play in the last 5 mins., when we are defending a lead. So it's Giggs to start vs. Chelsea on the left, with Valencia on the right.

Neville gave Valencia a free role with his involvement in the wing, and I think its good that Neville gets involved. He has better passing than Valencia in that he does it earlier and quicker. Valencia would spend time on the ball deciding, while Neville would have decided by the time he receives the ball. Neville should play against Chelsea, because he is faster than O'Shea, and he can do better crosses into the box.

four lines that sum up my nights viewing.

conference defending from our make shift back four.

obertan was superb. drop nani please.

our attack is good for gods sake, we still missed berbatov as well muppets.

Akinfeev, absolutely world class son. he will be snapped up by a top drawer team soon.
