    Re: chelsea wont struggle

Three reasons why they will struggle:

1- Aging players: injuries more often, especially if you see that the first lineup played most of the matches in all competitions, this means that each player might be ending up playing more than 60 matches the whole season and if we consider the World Cup qualifiers and the African competition for 4 of them then there will be definetely crucial damages for their main forces.

2- No quality subs, this means that even if the coach wants to rest some of his key players, he has to put them as subs in chase things go wrong.

3- Up till now they are banned from bringing in any new player till summer period.

    Re: chelsea wont struggle

ok first thing they have an ageing squad you agree on that....second i knew about this thing in august that they are going to face these teams...still m saying they will face trouble...cause why they have FA CUP games in between the games and thei ageing squads wont be able to cope plus they have a transfer ban

also drogba replacement is who kalou yes he is going too....essien's replacement is mikel......

lets see who will come up for them..cause drogba is the one who makes them play and essien is the one who keeps the team together cause be honest....without essien their defence has not look the strongest....

so who will replace essien and mikel lets see.....ballack or deco yeah they will defend really well

for drogba they have who guess sturridge now you tell me sturridge will score goals that drogba does with his strength

and birmingham aint falling over anymore you saw it....burnley is an away fixture and you telling me they are not going to be up for you.................they will give it their all an nearly won at stamford bridge too.........................................................

and suderland you know they will cause a scare

and the ageing squad has to play games in quick succession with not muh rest......we also actually do our resarch and state it.....this was stated in the forum in august....you are posting it now and think that we have not thought it through....wow

It's obvious by the way that there playing that they won't struggle, but they will have a problem with scoring goals seeing as Drogba won't be there to bang them in.

Yea, i agreee they will be edging out 1-0 wins and sometimes draw

Lets kill these Chelsea mugs! It would be brilliant ot pick up points against them and I don't doubt united can do it. If things falll right for us, the defence is on their toes and we dominate them. It will be a good game. The form Chelsea's in is scary, uniteds spirit and speed will hopefully trouble them. COme on lads!

Chelsea are a strong team this season, and i don't think they will struggle either during the African Cup of Nations, but they have lost games this season, to Wigan and Aston Villa, so anything can happen, they havn't been a good travelling side so far this season, but all we can do is hope that Chelsea slip up during that period where Drogba, Essien and other's arn't playing.

    chelsea wont struggle

many people said that chelsea will struggle during the africa cup of nations but i think they wont because during that period of time they will face mid table teams like birmingham city, burnley and sunderland. im sure they will cope with the loss of drogba, essien and others. only sunderland could cause them some trouble. im not a fan of chelsea but im worried that they are playing better than us at the moment and i hope we will win against them in the next match.
