we aint weak, its just our whole style of play is alot different and its slower..

I wouldn't say that we are weak right now but if there's one area where we can improve it's our finishing upfront.Because we do create lots of chances but not able to score as many goals as we would have liked due to poor finishing.

In regards to the league, it's not neccesarily about how you play but more about consistency. I can understand your fears as we have had a tendency to make things difficult for ourselves but the important thing is that we are getting results. When the league comes down to its 30th week, 9 times out of 10 united will be leading the pack and getting results when it matters. We seem to be a long-term club, able to win games convincingly in the long run while also being able to scrape results when it matters. The onus is on Chelsea to keep up.

 watever fans might say, we are weak, but in fact we are not "weak". Simply we are not yet in form, we are not yet playing with full squad, Recall last season we were 8 pts behind, and winter came(november-january) we outplayed every1, winter have always been our time, so lets b a bit patient, yes chelsea and arsenal are strong, very strong but we much more capable than them, we have strength in depth, Arsenal does not have, chelsea will be struggling when comes the african nation cup...! If we line up a team like VDS--brown-vidic-ferdinand-evra----valencia-fletcher-hargo-sir ryan----berbatov-rooney!! Just on paper itself it looks like a dream team...So common don't get desperate we are still capable of winning one or two trophies this season!

 i don't think we are any weaker comparing to the last season.... i think some of our younger players are just not improving fast enough or are simlpy not ManUtd material..... i keep reading around here "give Nani more time" or "give Anderson more time" which i think is a very old phrase that doesn't hold water any more..... Nani had plenty of time and still his passing rate, dribbling success etc are not good enough (in fact they are embarassing), we simply paid too much for him .... Anderson, well, where to start? I look at him and every time he makes a mistake or his shot goes 15 meters wide I think about Samir Nasri and why in hell didn't we spot him before Wenger.... Carrick is not playing very well, Scholes is good in one and bad in next two games, Ferdinad is injured, Vidic did not hit top form yet, O'Shea is not a player who can play well 5-6 games in a row, Berbatov's form comes and goes in minutes, Valencia does not know how to use his left leg which makes him half a player Ronaldo was, Giggs can't be MOTM every game as he is 35+, Macheda said he wants to go back to Lazio at some point in his career and I think he is being punished right now (he is too good to play in Carling Cup only) and so on....

 few months ago somebody on this forum said that his season will be all about rebuilding the squad and things look pretty much that way.... we will give Chelski and Arsenal (who at this moment have a 3-0 lead against Wolves without sweating) a good fight, but no matter how much I love this club I can't see us being as powerful and dangerous as we were last season..... i bet there will be some serious shopping next summer......

I am appalled at what am i reading from "Fans "especially the talk about losing and drawing in tomorrows big game.Thank God none of you are players or staff of Man United coz you are already intimidated by Chelsea's current form.

May I remind you that a great team must always be mentally in form and unless a team plays to win they will undoubtedly lose.There is no question that Chelsea are a solid team but they can be beaten,It appears that a sizeble number of fans on talking reds are naysayers and i am bound to ask if these are really Man United Fans or infiltrators from the opposition?When the last season was closing the same banter was on this forum complaints about Ronaldo,O'shea,Berbatov etc quite frankly there is a saying often used these days "if you cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen".

What are people complaining about we are already through to the second round in the champions league, second in the premier league and still in contention for the carling cup yet some are telling us about weakness and how we will lose draw tomorrows game ARE YOU REALLY MANCHESTER UNITED FANS???????

i was comparing us to previous seasons performances ! 

and maybe to chelsea also we are comparatively weaker.. 

They had any easy ride vs Blackburn.

I think everyone underestimated CSKA - Both teams were similar - shocking at the back and decent going forward.

Brown was short of real match fitness and Fabio looked out of his depth at times.

Was impressed with Obertan - he looked very strong when he came on, more like Ronaldo than Nani is.

If we started with Rooney, Evra & Obertan we would have won.

 Our defence is certainly under performing.. not even close to last years run of clean sheets.. 

 Last season, we had ronaldo and rooney spear heading the attack, ronaldo alone was a bigg threat.. so the rest of the team, besides the strikers / ronaldo, could concentrate on defending and winning the ball back.. 

today we are playing like most teams where entire midfield has to move ahead to create those chances, maybe thats why we are seeming weaker defensively.. 

lets hope we atleast draw on sunday...

we dont need new players, our strikers are good enough.. only  Obertan should be given more time instead of nani cos nani has been given alot of time and hasnt been able to step up his play..! 

Vidic and rio should find their form soon!! lets jus hope..
