I thinkObertan is a great talent.. Do not forget that he has only played a few minutes and already seems to have a very galvanising effect on our attack...the fact that he brings Evra, Anderson, Rooney and Valencia into play goes a long way into saying that he has a bright future in the game. he is also very silky in his passing, and intelligent in the use of the ball, and is a wonderful dribbler. The game doesnt have to be built around him, unlike Cristiano which is a big add on our team. He is more of the playmaking winger with a blistering pace from initial signs. but to add the icing on the cake he can also attack form the centre. he is not a finished product yet....this has more to do with his finishing power and his movement in the box and positioning in the field, something Cristiano had really perfected, but he really looks exciting. That doesnt mean Nani is at all bad. He is got loads of talent, has great pace, SAF likes him and despite his dissapointments he continues playing. But i do not think the gaffer is ready to build our play around Nani either, which is the only way to bring the best out of him. That means NANI has to sacrifice the dribbling and do the game more like a winger who is after assisting others other than trying to score all the time. I think Ando has really started being integral to our team, and now that Fletch is back maybe we can expect the advanced role that he is so good in.
i dont hate Nani, but it is a time for him to change. To stop trying to be Cristiano and Quaresma and start being a winger.. he has little time left though because Adem is not the kind of a player Nani wants eyeing the right wing position. Adem might be 18 but i have watched him before and even Crstiano would be proud to have just a share of Adems brilliance on reading a game.
Macheda is sweet to watch....he was wonderful yesterday.....what do you think?
