    Re: one united membership

You won't get tickets for away games unless you go to other websites for tickets, but you will be expected to pay rediculously expensive prices for one singular ticket

It's all been said before and has fallen on deaf ears with the owners and people who make these decisions.  It was even raised to the Office of Fair Trading and they unbelievably found in favour of the club.  This is the main reason why I will not have a season ticket and will take my chances in the ballot.

I hope you're aware then that you have to buy tickets for every single home cup game whether you want it or not?  You can opt out of Carling Cup games, but by doing so it means you can't apply for away tickets, which then defeats the point of having it in the first place if you're wanting to apply for away tickets.

i was aware that buying a season ticket means you buy tickets for cup games without asking to unless you opt out, but i didn't know that this meant you can't apply for away games if you opt out. what a ridiculous rule. do any other clubs have systems like this or is it just us? i was embarrassed that we were the only premiership club to raise ticket prices at the start of the season and this system is another rule which alienates fans.

It really is a stupid rule. If you don't want to purchase something, you shouldn't have to. It's wrong and I don't agree with it at all. If you've got a season ticket, you've payed a lot of money so to force people without choice, to buy cup tickets is wrong

As a general rule only season ticket holders and executive members have the opportunity to apply for away tickets.

Yeah brilliant. If you add me on Facebook, then we can arrange something. If you decide what game you want to go to, we can sort something out sometime. I found tickets for the game at Ewood Park in March but they're £86, so it's a bit costly, even though I do wanna go to an away game.

Yeah you can always try touts outside too but I did that for West Brom last season and was £70 but that was the price once the game had kicked off lol, only missed about 5 mins though and the away fans are ace, were singing all the way through.

    Yeah Blaize, we should :)

You can't get away tickets no; unless of course you want to pay rediculously expensive prices on ticket websites. The Barnsley game was on sale on a website for £46 but I was unable to go. Kelly, we should go to a game sometime. It'd be good to meet some more United fans.

Not likey to get the opportunity to buy away tickets for league games although last season there was a chance to get middlesborough tickets but I know a season ticket holder who applied for all away games last season and got one - Middlesborough lol.

Only really home games you can get but cup games usually go on general sale.

It will be very unlikely a One Utd Member would get a chance with away games, Im unsure about cup games though as it goes to ST holders first. But Earlier this year i got a ticket for the community shield final against Chelsea which was at Wembley.

    one united membership

Just a question about the benefits.

I have read what the website says and it includes things like applying for tickets. But do one united members have any chance with away games? Because i'm very keen to go to one or two this season.

    cheers
