Both bargains. Obertan will be signing of the year IF he continues to play like he is. Owen has been ok, squandered a few chances but has got a few goals, we know he aint gonna be regular so what more can we ask of him

I'm sure you all recall the belly-aching in this forum during the transfer window regarding Owen but especially Obertan. Several fans were saying a bit of "nasty" prattling regarding SAF being poor during the transfer-window. Once again, the gaffer has shown his doubters that he has more football savvy than they'll ever have.

With obertan i agree, it does look like it was a great bargan. I hope he plays him ahead of nani because he has been a waste of money so far.

With Owen eish, he has missed a lot of chances, a lot but i gues he cant sharpen up his goal instincts if he is coming on in the last 10 minutes of the game.

Definitely if you look at it from a price perspective. 3 mio pounds for obertan and peanuts for owen.

However, when it will be time to look and reflect on their performances for the whole season, next year, we will know whether they were effective bargains.
