Its a bit early to be touting him as the next Ronaldo

Obertan is a special talent but I think these guyshave gone a bit overboard, this early and he is being touted as Ronaldo's replacement! David Bellion anyone?

Nani has been at the club since 2008 and he's won the lot.

yeah...he has !! But does he deserve those? Other than being on the field on the same time, His contribution was almost non existant.

Maybe all of us are wrong.....Maybe Nani will becomet a legend...Maybe...butsomehow I doubt that. If 'Mr Potato Head' continues his performance, all Nani can do is keep the bench warm !!!

    Death is just the begining

stefan for once i agree with you. and those who say obertan should even start v chelsea are idiots.

No need for calling fellow united fans with opinions names.

    manutd4life_09:
    he isn't even match fit

Its doubtfull Giggs will last the whole 90 mins, especially in a game of this magnitude, so the possibility of Obertan (potatoe head) as stefanunited calls him, coming on at some stage is pretty high.

    stefanunited:
Ok don't get me wrong you nutters. I love Obertan, and I think he's a top talent and in a few years time will be one of the best players in the world. But some of you guys are crazy. The guys played what, 10, 20 minutes and you are telling everyone he is world player of the year causing you to be disrespecting Nani in a very high manner. Nani has been at the club since 2008 and he's won the lot. Everyone is saying when Ronaldo is at the club that Nani is going to become the next Cristiano Ronaldo but this is not true. He is totally unique just like every single one of us. He was very over shadowed when Ronaldo was here and suddenly he leaves and Nani has to be just as good? I think Nani has improved a lot this season, for example he played smashing against CSKA Moscow away. So what im trying to say is here, Obertan will be good but don't give me that nonsense saying "play him 90mins against Chelsea" because one it won't happen, two Nani is a better player at the moment and three, Giggs will start anyway. Thats all I have to say!

he's an exciting prospect and the game's he's played in so far, he's been really good.

but there's no chance he's gonna start against chelsea.

    what cha say!

Stefan, mate; extract that bug that's burrowed somewhere. Potato-Head? Remember when the club signed Obertan, all the dissing that followed? Well, I think that Obertan has surprised most of the fans with his skill and composure. Yes, we may get ahead of ourselves... that must sound familiar to you, as well, mate; nevertheless there's nothing wrong with us having an opinion that may or may not be the same as yours or any other Potato-Head.

I may agree that Giggs will start but will not be surprised if Obertan is on the pitch during the 2nd. half. I hope you're post isn't a slur against those of us whose diet has a lot of spuds!

You can see why SAF has to judge character as much as potential and skill when you put on the red shirt. The pressure of expectation.

I know he is very young yet but looks like he could become a good player for United but it will take him a while. I am getting a little fed up with Nani to be honest he has been given loads of chances i cant see him improving but hopefully i will be wrong. Yeah Giggs will start anyway. Mr Mcluvin Head!!!!!
