I think its media hype. I would be first to admit we have been playing very average this season but still winning and i think that is why people are scared that once utd hit form we will be unstoppable.

I think everyone has forgotten the elimination of chelsea at old tradford last season. 3 - 0 but could have been 5 or 6 that day. This is the same UTD team part from ronaldo and this is the same chelsea team its just they are on diff form.

 After that defeat last season all the media and reporters who are praising chelsea today were slating them so i wouldnt worry about media so much. Andy grays opinion is honest and he says it as it is but paul merson wasnt a top draw player who never really set the world alright so if im honest his opinion doesnt interest me or bother me. He should talk about arsenal and concentrate on talking up arsenal.

 Hate ex players who think they have right to judge a team esp when they havnt earn the right to do so. How many average clubs did merson play for? ps did he not have a stint as manager and failed. So merson PLS SHUT UP!!!!!

I think Chelsea will win, i just hope its not embarrasing! We're just not playing the same in defence, our defence is what has won us the title 3 years running! Chelsea might just punish us while they have the chance.

I don't understand why people say that Chelsea is the best team in the world after two great performances. To be the best in the world, you have to beat the best, and I'm not claiming that's us, but there are enough challengers to that title out there. It doesn't matter what Andy Gray or anyone else would predict, Liverpool beat us 4-1 home last season, and Gerrard kissed the camera; but guess who kissed the Cup at the end of the season?

I can understand why many people say Chelsea are the favourites.

I'll only say this much:Hopefully Fergie and his boys will have learnt their lesson at Liverpool and play with more determination and focus tomorrow.

 

you may be right with all the stats etc.but look at it in motivational point of view..we've just been beaten by liverpool[a top 4 side]!knowing saf and his team, especially after thrashing chelsea at home, i dont see why one [especially a united] to go into the match expecting to lose!

 

WTF Albert Mukiria are u chelsea fan or what i'm really confused u sounds like we are mid-table team ..u should all be more optimistic because if u have in your team players like rooney,berba,anderson,fletcher,vidic u should BELIVE that u can win every game  .i'm really shocked from this forum evryone seem too pesimistic that we play against one side that no more than 3 months ago we played fantastic game against them

The last time we went to Stamford Bridge on fleeting confidence and wobbly form was back in 2006 and we got hammered 3-0 handing Chelsea the title. Chelsea saw the gap and took it in emphatic fashion. I would love to make a case for United come Sunday, but i just can't. We have been very fortunate in many games except Spurs and Wigan where we excellent, and Chelsea want to make a statement in this fixture. This is the perfect time to beat United!!!(from their point of view) The Pundits are actually right on this one. Chelsea are looking more and more like the side Jose Mourinho assembled and are itching to dent our fragile confidence even further. There are too many questions marks about the United team this year whilst Chelsea seem to be slipping into gear. We were dreadful against Liverpool(who are still struggling albeit that win) and Chelsea have far superior players than them. Superior midfield, the most in form striker presently(92.3% return to be exact) and a miserly defence that has only concede once in the league so far. Where on the field can we match them? Can we outscore them, boss them in the centre or even shut them out? Doesn't look likely. To me its not a question of who wins but how many Chelsea put past VDS come evening on Sunday. Only one Winner and they will be dressed in Blue.

I am a female supporter but i will never say die for Manchester United until d final whistle as been blown. If we can put on a performance like we did against man. city r tottenham we can beat chelsea. They r playiny well. But im still in favor of the team i will support forever to take all 3 points. 100% right, against Liverpool we were in great form, and still lost, Liverpool had lost 4 in a row. Doesn't matter how good Chelsea are going, form doesn't matter in these games.

We have had the edge over Chelsea in the last couple of meetings.

I think it's going to be a really hard game, because Chelsea are probably the best team in the world right now but we can beat them, we are not a bad team but we are a weaker team without Ronaldo, peopl are saying that United are playing really poor, yet are still 2nd on the table. In all honesty i can't see us winning this game, so i will be very happy if we get a draw.

 I think it's good in a way, it will take the pressure off United and all of it will be on Chelsea. 

A lot of pundits are putting their chips on Chelsea to win it but I don't see how United can't win this match as well - open game results could go either way.
