Re: Nani linked With A Move To Spain

I think that Nani shouldnt be sold. Put on loan for a season or two but not sold. When Ronaldo was here, Nani hardley had a game. But now hes gone everyone expects Nani to be the new Cristiano and he just simply aint. Fergie has stated that Nani is a talented boy and is a player for the future of Man Utd. I happen to agree, thats why i think it would be a mistake to sell him. Unless of course the rumour in the summer was true and David Silva stated that the only premier league team he would sign for was Man Utd. If thats true then sell Nani. Silva or Jesus Navas. But until one of them comes available then...... believe it or not.......  We need Nani.

Nani is a good player, but is necessary to confince him to stay, me am a correct man.u fan, i don't become the fan because of any player but because of their setup, method of playing, caoch decipline and caoch sellection i also like the perseptive look of the coach. So  for me i belive nani is free.

YesYou've got the problem right there..........supporters have a lot to answer for and will regret their treatment of him one day.

Nani is'nt going to make it at United simple as that.

Yes he's still young and yes he has pace and trickery but without intelligence, awareness and being able to play the correct pass at the right time etc pace and trickery are'nt enough?

Also i just don't think he has the mental toughness needed to play at a club like ours and since we signed him in 2007 he has failed to kick on and improve and has infact gone backwards instead of forwards which is unfortuanate.

The best thing for him i think would be a loan move back to Portugal in January or even to another Prem club like Sunderland where he will get regular 1st team football and hopefully some confidence back into his game.

I honestly cant see how people think that he will improve if we give him more time on the pitch - he is in his 4th season and has not progressed one bit - Anderson conversly has improved season on season. Everyone saying that he lived in Ronaldo's shadow are just excusing a player who is wasting his undoubted talent. Is Nani a technically more gifted than Valencia / Park - yes. Does Nani contribute as much to the team as Valencia / Park - No.

His distribution of the ball is terrible. he holds onto it when he should find the simple pass (Ronaldo took 6 months to learn this Nani is in his 4th season) there is no shame in being a talented footballer who couldnt handle playing at the highest level but should we persist with this player any longer or give the likes of Obertan and Tosic a go down the left. For me he has had his chance and he cant cut it so we need to stop playing with 10 men like we are when he starts and give others a chance

He deserves a new contract, and he certainly deserves more time on the pitch. Nani's biggest problem is that he hasn't be consistent for United, but as soon as he'll start getting more minutes he'll show his real worth. I remember that his first season at Old Trafford has been great, and only when Park came back from injury Nani started vanishing slowly. I hope this changes and he comes back to himself. I still think he shows some good hints with his touches in every game.

if the story is true, ITS GREAT NEWS!!! sorry to say this, but the lad cannot bear pressure. He is good player, but somehow not adjusting to the United squad. So, its good for both the parties.

if a new deal isn't done soon i think he's likely to stay until next summer.  in all honestly, all the ruckus Obe is generating right now with his first few performances; i wouldn't be surprised if Nani was worried about his position with United...

    OH UNITED WE LOVE YOU!

Does he deserve a new deal? personally I'd say no.

He doesn't look to have improved since arriving, he's still unsure on the ball, poor crosser and most shots end up in row z.

So what if he's only 22 do you not think he should be proven by now.

Nani linked With A Move To Spain

    http://worldwidefooty.forumcircle.com/viewtopic.php?t=64

Manchester United winger Nani could be on his way out of Old Trafford despite assurances from United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

Nani future has come intense speculation as he has struggled to live up to expectations, since his £14 million move from Sporting Lisbon, two seasons ago. The Portuguese international is still only 22, is concerned about his position at the club, that he could be a surplus requirement.

United star Nani plans sit down with Fergie to find out exactly where he stands.

A united source said: “ Nani believed his chance had finally come following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, but the rumors just won’t go away and he is looking for answers.”

The winger is now being linked with a move away to either Atletico Madrid or Villarreal.

Spanish giants, Atletico see Nani as a replacement for Maxi Rodriguez and are keen to setup an initial loan deal. Whilst Villarreal could use Nani as cover for new signing Sporting Lisbon Matias Fernandez
