i think cleverly could maybe the guy given the time........or maybe petrucci or ljajic if they come good as their talent promises.

well as i keep saying there was one of the best midfielders in the world on sale in the summer and we let inter snap him up for €15million. he is a proven goalscorer and a terrific player and the kind of guy i feel i team misses now.

I don't care if we keep wining trophies.

 maybe SAF can consider to bought Rafael van Der Vaar. He can score loads of goal if given the chances.

If Anderson or Nani step up we will but at the moment no we don't.

I think this is a legitimate post. We have no reliable scorers in midfield which heaps pressure on our front men/man. Chelsea game is the perfect example, we dominated midfield in no small part to brilliant tactics from Fergie but only managed two shots on target. For all of Rooney's hardwork, Carvalho and Terry had the better of him.

We need a high scoring player, whether in midfield or up front to take some of the burden off Rooney.

I like Anderson and hope he can moulded into a dominating box to box (already on the right track), goal scoring midfielder but we'll just have to wait and see.

Actually I don't think the issue is me misunderstanding you at all.  Go back and read the actual words that you wrote, including the subject line.  Also, notice how you made sure to mention Ronaldo in your post.

Again 12 games into the first EPL season and panic sets in.

 Once Anderson is played up the field and works on his shooting, we'll have such a midfielder.

You missunderstand me Yank, this thread has NOTHING to do with Ronaldo,,,,,,,,,we just seem to have so much of talent in the likes of Carrick, Anderson, Fletcher and the list goes on and I dnt think collectively they average 20 goals, no dissrespect intended, but can we constantly rely on our front men, all the time, where we shud have a Stevie G or Frank Lampard popping up with +20 goals :)
