I just saw the score and wow...9 goals against a team that beat Chelsea

Well looks like Tottenham has become the favorite to get 4th

 Automatic relegation for a freak result? 

They could play that game 10 times and in all probability Spurs would not win 9-1 again, they might win them all but the score would be more along the lines of the "norm."

Remember stuff happens, this is the same Wigan team that beat Chelsea a few weeks ago. 

Wigan may yet have to fight for their premiership life this season, but they are not that horrible of a team.

 Lol it almost happened to me too! I had Keane a week ago, but thank god I put defoe back!! Imagine if he was my captain...  God we could do with a striker like that.

They can only look gud against awful side becos i could remeber when dey played arsenal dey were pretty bad. if any team cums to united with an awful defence lik wigan den we would probably multiply that by 2. dont get moved by the scoreline spurs should thank wigan for dere awful defence. i cant take anythin from defoe though deadly finisher.

Jermaine Defoe alone, has scored the same number of goals as all our strikers (Rooney+Dimitar+Owen) combined this season... this is unbelievable... I can't believe there's a striker out there that could actually outscore the strikeforce of the best football club in the world. Pigs flying maybe...
