if defoe keeps this up we should seriously consider buying him, he's allready a big name in english football and a consistant goalscorer, if we fail to sign villa or if we dont buy anyone atall then this guy is a good signing. he scored 5 against wigan! 5! he is in good form obviously. only problem is he just signed a contract with tottenham... he can score goals on his own and is fantastic in the box, he's only 27 and still has a few years left in him why not? give him a 2-3 year deal n he will score. probably won't happen but ill mention it anyway  what do you think?
