to the mods, why are my posts getting removed?

i have had many posts deleted. maybe some of them need to be moved but i cant see any of them in any group. what is happennin?

As the title says I think that this forum is a bit pointless.

The things I like about this forum are analysis of our opponents, mature conversation of our/other players and getting to know other man united fans.

What I think is pointless are threads like "Buy him, Fergie" "This guy stinks, drop him to the reserves" "Fire SAF and the Glazers" and you get my point.

We keep discussing of useless stuff that is not going to affect SAF's way of thinking. Only he will decide what or what not to do with his squad.

Mods - Now we have them do we want them ?

You block pretty much anything that comes within an inch of a swear. It's perfetic really, a teams been cheated, unlucky or a fans just generally not in the mood and wants to get passionate about there team.

You block a word if we are bad mouthing our RIVALS who let me remind you we HATE with a passion.

Your not getting payed to be a mod, so whats the point in being stubborn and acting like you are?

Guys,

Since I have joined this forum I have had much joy in some of the special people that I have met. There are some genuinely great individuals on here, that love United and have respect for their fellow man, much less other United supporters. I am completely ashamed of what happened on these forums over the last day or so.

We are all devastated by the fact that we lost to Chelsea this weekend. Sometimes the hangover really hurts and that causes us to act out. Some of you have really demonstrated that over the last few days. I am not writing this to scold anyone, but to remind you that we are all people here and people deserve respect. We post on the forums because we love United. Yet when we go we leave the forums we carry the things that were said. We need to stop taking things so personally and we need to start treating people like people. I go home to my family and at times think about the things that were said to me. That just isn't always good. I really wonder how certain people can live with themselves when they chastise someone for being from another country, or for not speaking the language perfectly.

How on earth can you criticize everything that we "Mods" do? I was gone for most of the weekend. So I was not merging posts, editing users etc. Yet I would have had to do some of those things. When I see people starting threads to criticize Gavinio because the "power has went to his head" it makes me furious. Gav knows more about United than most and is a good and decent family man. Do you people know how many DAYS UPON DAYS that he put in to make this forum better. I WILL TELL YOU THAT BESIDES ME AND TAKEN AS RED, NO ONE WILL UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH EFFORT THAT GAVINIO GAVE! Do you guys know what United pay the three of us to moderate......NOTHING, NADA!

We did this because the club asked us to. We love United and we feel that we are level people who could help keep the peace. If you don't want us to do this...fine. We can leave the forum to return to chaos.

Most of you guys asked for a few things when improving the forum:

Stop the timeouts.......(sorry, but that is a techie issue) We are bugging them about this

Merge threads...Too many different Aguero threads

Stop R-acism....This is why I am here...I can't take the xenophobia. I don't care where you are from...United is a world club.

Guys, I am doing my best here. If you have a suggestion, email me and I will listen. I want to be happy here and I want you to be happy here. I am not on a power trip, I just want to enjoy the forum more. Please post here is you need something.

Lastly, and I know that I shouldn't do this...YET I WILL....There are a few users that are going to get their walking papers because of constant winding up and abuse. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT IF YOU START A THREAD AND CALL OUT A SPECIFIC USER/MOD/ETC....YOU WILL BE REMOVED!

for nearly two weeks now i couldnt open a topic/thread on the messageboards,some times i couldnt even sign in.this is the first time since them two weeks that i can view threads read posts reply to posts or make my own thread, can someone please answer as to why this has happened to me.it'll probably happen again as soon as i log out,have i been banned did i do something wrong. i know the sites been going through some changes but it seems to me that im the only one going through this. please mods look into this and try to give us a answer.cheers!

Hey guys,

Just wondering is there anyway you guys could help me out? I'm looking to get some people to test my TalkingReds app, so far I have 3 people. Either these 3 dont have time to get back to me or arent bothered. Its quite frustrating as I wanted people who would use it regularly and give me feedback. I know one person (Matt) is busy which I completely understand. I'm not sure what the deal with the others is. I had to use spaces on my testing account for these people which I dont think I can get back, without at least a bit of hassle.

Anyways, my question is. I posted before in the Latest News section seeking testers, which was removed pretty quickly, as not many people browsed this part of the forum (Feedback). Just wondering if there was anyway I could post in a more popluar section to gather a bit more interest, preferably to find a regular user and someone who has been here a while.

Its not like I'm making any money off this, it's going to be free!

Anyways let me know if there is anything possible.

I have just tried to reply to a post concerning the recently announced Liverpool video that has a pop at SAF and Gary Neville,only to find that the thread has been removed from the forum.

It is my view that rising to the inflammatory bait and moaning about it just increases the delight to the perpetrators of such mischief.Indeed kicking up a fuss and complaining officially would only serve to give the video a much wider circulation than it would otherwise receive to the increased discomfort of the Club and its supporters.

However to deny this forum a discussion on this topic without an explanation from the mods seems pretty extreme and very unfair to the OP,whos name escapes me.

Surely our Club and its fanbase are big enough and strong enough to shrug off any perceived insults from a petty little video ? Is all anti-United humour/dross to be filtered in such a way ?

If the video was poking fun at Liverpool/Gerard/Benitez then I feel certain that it would invoke plenty of discussion and much delight to this forum.But because we are the butt of the joke, the inference is that we are either incapable of discussing it, or not to be given the opportunityto do so.All of which is very hypocritical.

I doubt very much that this video is going to vanish into thin air and so this subject is going to come up again.Is it going to be continually censored.

Some explanation please.

why why why?so what sort of posts can you put on .i think all of us coming on to this site will be united supporters but we all have own different opinions and therefore not every 1 will agree with each others points of view and i understand that but when you write a post and its not even been given a few hrs and removed then what is the point of this site we cant all agree on everything what a boring world that would be.mods who decides and what is the criteria and why ?some answers pls .

Hi Have you noticed that the" time posted" above the avatar is showing AM when it is PM and visa versa. no big deal but when the bobbies knock on my door I need my alibis. And I cannot prove i was clicking away at 1445 PM if the clock says1445 AM.... Please adjust as I need my alibi .......

Before I started contributing to this forum, I read about Purefootball's threads especially pre-match analysis and team selection when facing different opposition. I was particularly enthrilled by his dyanamic knowledge of our team's strength and insight knowlege of the opposition in England, Europe and the rest of the world. Purefootball could almost 99% pick Fergie's team. I dont see new threads from him any more.....................................
