YOU WAKE UP and see the reality. Some of you are getting confused between my post expressing the reality and trying to look for positives. I am not looking for positives. Your interpretation is that I was looking for positives. I can assure you that it is the opposite.

No I cheered and celebrated when we beat a depleted Arsenal. City beat a depleted UNITED and you're all getting DIZZY about it. City have beaten us before, long before the millions and yes you are right it is a derby but I've watched United for 35+ years and this result today, in ONE game, against our rivals in Manchester, the 9th game of the season out of 38, with City 5 points ahead in October, is not the end of the world. The only thing that is hurt at present is PRIDE and EGO. The realistic thing is that UNITED losing in this manner was due any game and it so happens to be City who meted out the punishment. It was always coming, based on the way we have played our recent games in this 2011/12 campaigns. City have been making a lot of noise and now we need to sit up and definitely take notice. No longer can we play in a lacklustre way and still hope to win. CITY put paid to that. That is the reality. Not because it was a DERBY.

Oh and furthermore, I live in Chester.

This game will take awhile to recover. I have cooled of, after breaking my t.v. true it is just one game, but I believe this game has sealed the faith of the bpl title. I can not see us winning the title anymore this year with City in this league. Feel bad for SAF, I hope all the players apologise to him for such a result.

Then you know that if what you say comes true, that we will not win BPL, then we have got a long time to get used to the fact. It's a long road till the end of May.

That was utter disgusting they should be shameful you call them champons not on that level they are not, City showed us why they can be prem Champons this season as they where ten times better then what we where. I have never be ashamed to be called a man utd fan they where out played out classed now you know why the money talks in football.You can see why they payed out so much for the players as they can be the next ones to take over us in manchester which i hope not but you cannot count them out.It shows in football as we have to be content at what we got and they can get any one. This is why SAF failed in the tranfer market by not geting a midfielder as that showed today they where so woeful in there. And now we know how Arsenal felt when we beat them 8-2.

Arsenal were playing without a lot of key players. We were playing with experienced winners. It's an embarrassing result! A good explanation is needed and SAF and the team needs to learn a lesson from it. Anyway, It'll be ever more satisfying now when we do crumple the oil rich dirty scum.

Theres alot of muppets in here who support other teams and just get in the forum disguised as United supoporters to talk !&!^ about ouir team. I can understand the pain from real supporters and their frustation from this result, but I can't stand those fools who get inito this forum and some of them have been doing it for years as you can see it in their joining date to the forum.

Many thanks for saying that and being totally realistic about UNITED. Today was a bad result but it is ONE game

You sound like a recent fan, say last 10 years or so. Five points ahead in October and you're all crying into your milk. Grow up and actually digest the words written, understand UNITED's history and how when they are down they come back fighting etc. It may be a dumb statement to you but that has just shown how you along with all the other fans are not realistic about UNITED. You are more interested in getting one over City instead of looking at the whole season left to come. READ the POST again!!
