Was born in 1988 so on the basis of what I have seen, my top 5 would be

1 - Paul Scholes
2 - Ryan Giggs
3 - Peter schmeichel
4 - Cristiano Ronaldo
5 - Eric Cantona

There is so many players to choose from know what i mean.This club has been blessed with some truely amazing players throughout the history of this club that some of us have been blessed to see whether in the past or now.Every plsyer has played there part in the continued success of this club right back to the Busby Babes and its carried on throughout right till now and will do in the long term future aswell after SAF retires.This club is just magical such a special club with many special players know what i mean.Also SAF is a genius and i think it will take a very very good manager to replace him and continue the history and success of this club.

Let them man.I mean i love Ronaldo Rooney Vidic etc but these players that ive mentioned are on a different planet always will be and played so much to kick start us on a run of being very successful know what i mean.Im not saying the squad hasnt now but back then the players were just brilliant and there were no money grabbers they were loyal unlike now where its all about money money money.Just goes to show how much football has changed since back then.

David Beckham at #1 way better than Rooney sorry people, CR7#2 best footballer on the planet sorry Messi lovers, #3 Giggs amazing still at this age, #4 Van Der Sar one of the best goalies i've ever seen, and Rooney at #5

Watched them from early seventies. My favourite players ( not necessarily the best players) Best Law Charlton Keane Ronaldo A sixth? Willie Morgan ( favourites remember not the best players)

1. Edwards 2. Best. 3.Charlton 4. Scholes 5. Law. Been a supporter since mid fifties so I guess I could pick a top twenty and still have to miss out some great players.

Since I'm only 18, I unfortunately wasn't able to witness most of United's legends. As a result. my favourite players are all current players/recently retired.

My top four (in no particular order ) would be : Giggs Scholes Rooney Ronaldo

For my fifth I'm torn between the three V's: Vidic, Van der Saar and Van Nistelrooy

My top five players from all clubs would be: Giggs Scholes Rooney Ronaldo Messi
