Will you pay 25m for a Valencia clone, instead of RVP? You must be joking. Valencia has not gone up in value at all, at most 14-16m for anyone with patience, although he was certainly worth 20m last summer.

Er yes it is, check the dates of the earlier pages mate. Valencia has been poor recently, nothing like himself of last season which is why it seemed like an odd thread based on him having a slightly better game today.

He is never been worth what we paid & worth about £10M max

Most football fans are so finicky its mad. Last people were saying he's world class when he wasnt, and this season they're battering him. He isnt that bad, good attitude but has never had the talent required for a club like us. Ever since he joined I've always said he isnt in the same boat as his predesesors (sorry for me spelling!) - Ronny,Becks & Kanchelskis. I think Wigan got a savage deal at the time (they were able to push up the price as they knew we'd just got 80m...). I reckon Antonio has improved a load, but is still probably worth between 12-16m at the moment. No top team in Europe would really take him except for Juve & Napoli as a RWB so I dunno who'd cough up the money to take him (he'd suit Stoke down to the ground though).

He was great last season, and has been imense this season, so about £25 million.
