Hope he gets back to fitness. Just bit sceptical about his abillity to make full recovery since a huge part of his game is covering a lot of ground. His game style is very straining and if and very likely when his ilness will affect his ability to run without tiring. Fletcher without ability to work tirelessly for 90 minutes isn't actually anywhere near what is needed at top level might mean that his career at top level is over. Time will tell, he still has some years in his prime but this injury came in very bad time for his career. Don't think Fletcher can change his game so much that he can adjust enough to make him efficient enough and lets face it United isn't actually lacking fairly poor workrate midfielders that can't run for 90 minutes.

I agree man.I have a feeling he wont ever be the same player again as like i said his illness wont ever go away and it could come back again so if he cant get back to 100% then he should retire

We have missed Fletcher no doubt about that hes very verstille a great player very under rated and often scores big goals in the big matches hes a big game player.I hope he makes a full recover but he said himself that his illness wont ever go away he will always have it he just has to manage it the best as he can.He shouldnt rush his recovery he needs time lets just hope that when he does come back he can play well but whether he will be the same player again who knows.

How great to hear that Darren Fletcher is on the mend. We feared he would not return. He is a a modest guy with a great talent and United do better with him than without. No surprise The Boss will pick him as soon as he is fit. Welcome back Darren. We are all relieved and pleased that you have beaten a terrible virus. Scotland are delighted too.
