Drogba was a great player but a mid 30 year old player isnt at all what we need when trying to build a young squad. Not like would happen in a million years anyway.

Agreed, owen is someone who you can rely on to get you a late goal and not moan that he isnt playing every game. Could you really see drogba doing this? if drogba had never played for chelsea then i think it could be a possibility but i still doubt we would go for him and he has built to much of a fan base over there at chelsea and he would lose that by coming to us.

I think his last statement was that he would follow the money. He'll probably end up In China or Russia.

In Conclusion:
no....we have great strikers who just aren't getting the service they need or deserve.. without a doubt still a very skillful player but not what we need..

but owen and berba are leaving and i think are summer money will be focused on midfielders. Him being free would be perfect. He could do a job for us for a couple of years.

Personally I dont see that happening. He's certainly still has something to offer, someone, but not united.

I also think he's got too much of a relationship with chelsea and their fans to play for another english side.

Ultimately he's a player on the decline so im pretty sure Ferguson wouldn't be interested.
