I think Mimi is not telling the truth. Berbatov cost us the game against Blackburn.
And I think Andrea has a much more imminent issue to ponder over - that of her beloved Hernandez being stuck right on Berbatov's place on the bench after he (Berbatov) leaves in a few weeks time....
Berbatov is leaving Man Utd according to SAF, so….When Berba was top goalscorer for Man Utd last season we got 19 th. When Rooney was top goalscorer for Man Utd 2009/2010 and this season too…..i just don’t…..no title (2009/2010)…. , Basel…., Atlethic Bilbao…..oh, man. Who cost us (Rooney's salary) more or what......

I don't have to twist anything. You kept repeating a the same stat over and over again and I made a point to debunk it. I only ask you to be objective and have solid reasoning to back up your points. like the others are doing

I care for every single United player, as long as they put on our Shirt and want to help us. As fans, we are allowed to criticize them even, but I expect United Fans to be held to a certain level of higher brain capacity and footballing analysis, than other clubs also than what tends to be displayed here.

You are defending Berbatov very badly and no, Berbatov did not throw into our own net. When it was 0-0, Blackburn had possession and then Berbatov fouled Aiyegbeni Yakobu of Blackburn in the penalty area.

Finally, now your being honest. You never had any facts to use as back up. According to you, you don't care what happened after the goal, cos the penalty was at the beginning of the game

A little advice, if your an adult, in your adult life, people will often demand solid logic to go with the things you "say" unless your a politician of course then you don't need to think.

Berba cannot keep up with any fast passing of the ball. He slows down every move.He cannot play against City. Anyway surely he is on his way out.

Berba scored twice on one end of the pitch (the Blackburn end) and the people at the other end of the pitch aka our "defense" also conceded. All I'm stating is that you remember there is enough blame to go round.

In 20 seasons of the Premier League United have never conceded more goals at Old Trafford. Our latest against Everton, this was also the seventh time this season they have conceded three or more.

You can blame one striker for all our defeats all you want but the stats you love to repeat so much tell a different story.

It is a team sport anytime of any day. The OP seems to think he has a different style and can offer something different, whether or not that is true is not what you seem to be highlighting

you have been saying throughout the thread that he was the cause for our past defeats, and that's why he shouldn't play and I went on to disprove that.

If you don't think he offers something different then that's fine.

However to be blaming "1" player every time we lost a game this season as the sole reason for the not playing is not the way to do that.

Mentioning Blackburn over and over again is not making your case.

The point is you can address the issue of if he brings something different without blaming a single player for our defeats. You mentioned you favourite stat about 8/15 v 76/90 something like that

That is fine, but you forgot to mention that collectively the "team" is playing better overall and our form improved by bringing Paul scholes which back has given us solidity and cutting edge passes in midfield, that by less defensive lapses because Jonny Evans has grown as player and in confidence which SAF tried to address and that is the real "overall" reason things are now working out. "not he gave away one the most stupid penalties I have ever seen" is not good enough, sorry

In your desperation to make a case why he must not play you failed to be objective.

Did you mean the man who was too pride to chase any through ball unless u feed him the perfect 'to feet' pass, can offer something different ?

He might be much talented in technique and skill, but he is lacking in pace and workrate, something that Fergie already realized at the end of the last season.
