are you serious? never mind his £100k wage that he's reportedly on, but he's been past it for years now, we should be focusing on players that are young or which are in their prime such as Kagawa, Strootman and certain others.

Very good memory Jasper, I do remember that, he is such a quality player and I think he still has a lot to offer and I don't think Liverpool are at all interested in having him back, such a shame, that volley for England as well back in 06 I think it was against Sweden, absolutely sensational... Quality player
i thought we were in for him once,i know SAF admired him at west ham as a kid,,as for the dippers,they"ve lost all concept of the word class,there was a time when i thought i"d never see the day,and how wonderfull it is!!

Yeah I think we were in for him before Chelsea but they did that old trick of taking who were are interested in... Haha, ah well! Yeah it's great to see, hopefully the berties follow them into oblivion soon as well!
