We need a world class striker to replace Tevez and a world class left winger! Silva and Villa......ah well maybe in another lifetime. I think Ronaldo will have a great time in Madrid...He'l be partying it up on the beach and still banging in goals. I guess it would be silly to say you wouldnt want to play for Madrid with players like Kaka

If all we have as back-up is Owen and the kids I will have a panic attack.

I do have a really strong feeling we will sign a striker and maybe another winger.

We will get another striker. I am convinced of that. I hate to go to the transfer speculation section as there are so many Spanish written threads.... We could still get a top quality striker like Huntelaar or Ibrahimovic. One of those two would be perfect for us and we will win another EPL title.

You honestly think the squad is strong enough for an assault on all fronts the way it is now?your mental.don't care too much about tevez to be honest.he just did'nt score enough goals and wasn't worth the money being quoted.but ronaldo is gone.how many goals has he scored in the last 2 seasons?must be near on 70?

Honestly, I think we will see another striker brought in between now and August - we know Fergie likes to operate with four strikers, something he has reiterated down the years.

We may see a few more young midfielders brought in as prospects in preparation for Scholes and Giggs' departure.

Not convinced you're going to see the "stars" a lot of you seem to crave though. If you know anything about United, you know that's generally not our style.

We definitely do need some additions to the squad though, no two ways about it. You can't lose established team players and not replace them.

I want to say to every1 that please be calm. Just coz realmadrid r flashing the cash doesnt automatically mean that we do.Thats not to say that i wouldnt like certain players to come to OT. I would whole heartidly agree that our squad is good enough to compete with the best in the world. I will adamantly say and will stick by my next comment. REAL WILL WIN NOTHING. In addition i would like to see certain players at united by that does not mean that they are needed they are just players who i feel will be 1s 4 the future and players that would improve our gr8 squad. The players 4 the future would be douglas, giovinco, rossi and jack rodwell. The 1s 4 now would be Yaya toure and luis fabiano. These players would make us even more gr8. Think about it we have only lost 1 player. tevez in my opinion was simply not worth the money. Ronaldo i think has has under achieved tbh. His attitude and work ethic was not that of a united player it was 1 of a spoilt real madrid indoctrinated child. Good ridence.

GUYS AND GIRLS PLEASE KEEP THE FAITH WE ARE UNITED ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT!!!!!!!

Wouldn't mind if Fergie went after Ibra.

I like our squad right now but I don't think Fergie is done. He's probably going to sign a big name to satisify his transfer budget or get a bunch of potential stars. Wouldn't really matter, I trust we got the money in the right person's hands.

In some positions, we have some of the best players in the world, such as VDS, Evra, Vidic, Ferdinand, Hargeaves, Rooney.

But in most others, we are much weaker. Nani hasn't lived up to expectation, Carrick simply isn't creative enough to be a central midfielder for a top European club, O Shea- enough said, Berbatov-can you say flop?

We need severe strengthening in central midfield, left wing, and up front.

We should bring in Pirlo to really pull the strings in CM, Silva to give us some creativity on the wings, and Aguero to give us better firepower up top.

Most on here are beyond naive and all think 'Happy Thoughts..Happy Thoughts...Happy Thoughts' and everything will be fine....It wont stop mate so im giving up as theres a lot of kids on here thinking the Owen we have now is still that fresh faced lad advertising Shreddies, most think Antonia Valencia is the new Ronaldo and others think we have signed Barrack Obama so we cant lose......

I know mate,im giving up too.I cant wait to see there reactions mid way through the season if the squad stays this way.
