What a lot of you are forgetting is, we actually have a wage structure and City do not... That's why 115% of their profits went on wages last year and only 40% of our profits went on wages... If you start giving players the wages they want, everyone would be on £250,000 a week, we need to sign smart and get bargains so when the FFP comes in, we're ahead of the rest, I for one don't like seeing 30/40 Million pound players, I'd rather we spend 8M on a player and if he becomes a flop, what have we lost, look at Veron, pretty sure he was the last real world class player we bought in to the team, look how that panned out, how much money was that wasted?... Just because they have a big price tag and are brandished world class does not mean they'll fit in to our system. We buy smart, we buy low and we build talent, with 2/3 more additions to this squad of players 20/24 we won't have to buy anyone again for another 4/5 years, personally I perfer that scenario than buying 3 28 year old world class players for 30/40 million a pop and then having to buy again in 2 years time when they have passed it

please stop being naive!!! im not a plastic fan but every1 is pretty much for sale at the right price!! also most players would come to utd if we paid the going rates of what CITY AND CHELSEA AND REAL have done. We paid 16m for Young in the final year of his contract. He earns 130k a week. The irony...It's acceptable that we refuse to pay massive fees for players but complaining about wages is just ridiculous and hypocritical

What I meant was for their age, experience etc Young to be fair is well established in the EPL, has the best stats behind Fabregas and is experienced enough, in ways he has earned that sort of wage. Other clubs were also interested in Young so maybe that had some impact on it idk but City pay about 200k upwards for some players.

Nasri is on like 173k apparently and others even more which is frankly stupid, we should keep our structure to the wage scheme.

Have we ever? No. SAF gets potential 'world class signings' like Ronaldo, Rooney, Vidic, etc. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.

I think City are looking a lot at the Napoli players, and Hazard. So i would love for us to look at the Bilbao team and Dortmund. Apparently we're close to this guy, Kagawa. Never seen him in action, so don't know how to rate him. If i were in charge, i would buy a descent RB (WHO IS A RB), two midfielders (creative ones) and one more attacker. But we also need a cleanout - send off Berbatov, Owen, Park, Kuzchack and perhapse Anderson - seriously deadwood, and not contributing enough.So if we have bought Kagawa who is a creative midfielder, i would look at Munain or Martinez for the second place in midfield. The attacker should be the world class player - either Cavani, Falcao, Llorente or Higuain.
