Jordi Alba plays as much at left back as he does at left wing, he can fit into either position well, like Michel Bastos. Just thought I'd point that out to you.

If we are instead in Lewandowski it's already been documented that him and Kagawa aren't very friendly with each other, I believe Kagawa stated he meaning Lewandowski is a one dimensional player and sometimes misses the open person and instead takes a bad shot. I'm not sure if this is true or not bc the Bundeshliga really can't keep my attention that long but if it's true, I doubt they want to work with each other again.

Well first nice post - Of those you talk about here i'd like jordi alba & hazard - fellaini... why fellaini,well he would make us stronger on corner kicks where we are wery weak now,we never score on corner kicks. Dont know much about Lewandowski,only watch a few videos with him,but he seem to be in the right spots alot,but the will not sell him for any prize the said.

Totally agree about Fellaini, United have looked weak from corners this year and he would help to change that. He is also a proven midfielder, which for me is the biggest thing, other midfielders have been talked about such as Martinez but what reason is there to believe he will be able to do it in the premiership where its alot more physical than la liga. I would like to see carrick/scholes partnered with fellaini and kagawa playing the free role behind rooney.

Sorry but that's not right. I'm really into La Liga and have even been over to see Valencia at La Mestalla this season (v Real Betis) and I know for a fact that he has played at left back almost all season. Valencia even have him listed on their own official website as a left back and they should know! For what its worth though I agree with you that he's better going forward than he is at defending but he's way better than Bale at LB.

Well whenever I see them play he's positioned as the winger, him and Mathieu overlap a lot but from what I've seen (two years of him now) he is a winger. He doesn't look at all capable of defending whatsoever, in fact he makes Evra looks good. I've yet to go to the Mestalla but even on the box it's clear enough he can't defend! Whatever the case it doesn't matter, there are much better options out there for us anyway, check the Jetro Willems thread I've made today.

Sorry but that's not right. Anyways Jordi Alba is a winger, poor defensively no point going there, Baines on the other hand would be a great buy and allow Fryers/Blackett to develop.

Kagawa isn't really a cm, he would be wasted there imo but still a great buy. I agree a more defensive sided midfielder is needed, not sure about Tiote and Felliani though pretty sure we he turned us down in the past.

Hazard isn't left footed, so he wouldn't fit the bill of a left footed winger. David Villa also turned us down so don't see that happening.

Imo we could do with a RB(Clyne),LB(Baines),CM(Martinez/Strootman),AM(Kagawa).

A couple of central midfielders - one creative, one defensive. For me I'd love to have Kagawa at OT, he just has all the attributes to become absolutely world class. I think we need a player like Fellaini. I know he's been mentioned in the past, and others believe Tiote would be a good fit, but it's Fellaini for me. I'm actually going on a personal scouting mission for Fellaini - England vs Belgium before the Euros :)

As for Baines he'd be useful until Tyler Blackett emerges and is ready, probably in about 3-4 years time. Fellaini isn't united quality for me, he concedes far too many fouls and his ball control is atrocious. Javi Martinez, Yann M'Vila and Kevin Strootman would be better options for me. As for Villa he's 31 this year. He's also coming back from long term injury and wouldn't be sold on the cheap. Plus I don't think we need more strikers yet. Nevertheless some good ideas, you've certainly got the right positions covered.
